In a city the size of Dallas, it's easy to find the perfect place to stay – whether you're a discerning luxury traveler, an art enthusiast, a wellness seeker, or in town for a big business meeting. Behold the best hotels in Dallas!

1.

The Joule

Address:

1530 Main Street

Price:

$252-3583/night

Situated in downtown Dallas, The Joule hotel combines history with contemporary luxury. Housed in a revitalized 1920s neo-Gothic building, the hotel’s architecture impresses with its unique design and stunning rooftop pool, cantilevered above the street below – and even years after its opening, it remains a hot spot for locals and tourists alike.
The Joule’s 160 rooms and suites are modern and stylish, offering high-end amenities, and its location near the Dallas Arts District and the flagship Neiman Marcus store provides convenient access to cultural landmarks and the city’s best high-end shopping. You won’t go hungry or thirsty, either – the hotel boasts several dining options, including the renowned CBD Provisions, serving farm-to-table cuisine, and Midnight Rambler, a cocktail bar routinely touted as one of the city’s best.
Another unique touch is the Joule’s impressive art collection, featuring dozens of works by renowned artists, including a 30-foot-tall eyeball sculpture by Tony Tasset.

2.

The Ritz-Carlton Dallas

Address:

2121 McKinney Avenue

Price:

$653-3890/night

It’s easy to see why the Ritz-Carlton is one of the best hotels in Dallas: It embodies timeless elegance and impeccable service in a central Uptown location close to popular attractions like the Dallas Museum of Art and the AT&T Performing Arts Center.
True to the brand’s reputation, the 218 spacious rooms and suites are tastefully decorated and offer luxurious amenities, while the hotel’s spa provides relaxation and rejuvenation with signature Texan treatments like an eight-hand massage and Dean’s Margarita Salt Glow. The Ritz-Carlton is also home to one of the city’s top restaurants and one of my best choices for a dinner experience, Fearing’s, a long-standing favorite serving award-winning Southwestern cuisine – don’t miss the lobster nachos.
The Ritz-Carlton stands out for its legendary service, ensuring an exceptional stay for discerning guests. It’s an ideal spot for business travelers, couples seeking a romantic getaway, and anyone who appreciates refined hospitality.

3.

Hotel Crescent Court

Address:

400 Crescent Ct

Price:

$370-2442/night

For a taste of Europe in the heart of the Big D, look no further than one of the fancy hotels in Dallas, Hotel Crescent Court. The hotel, exudes European elegance and sophistication and occupies a beautifully landscaped setting with courtyards, fountains, and a serene pool area, while its architecture blends classical elements with a contemporary touch.
The 186 spacious rooms and 40 suites have luxurious furnishings, with natural light and exclusive Molton Brown toiletries. The 22,000 square-foot spa is a highlight, as are two trendy dining options – Nobu, the quintessential sushi hotspot that’s a favorite among in-the-know Dallasites (myself included), and Beau Nash, a stylish cocktail lounge.
Do not miss tasting one of their premium wines, served by the glass. With Hotel Crescent Court’s prime location allows easy access to the Dallas Arts District and upscale shopping at Highland Park Village, making for an all-around tranquil urban oasis.

4.

The Adolphus, Autograph Collection

Address:

1321 Commerce Street

Price:

$123-2974/night

With a rich history dating back to 1912, The Adolphus is a Dallas landmark that combines timeless elegance with modern amenities. Even though the hotel has been restored with modern touches, its French Beaux-Arts architecture and opulent interiors evoke a sense of grandeur, while beautifully appointed rooms and impeccable service ensure a memorable stay.
Located in the heart of downtown, it is within walking distance of the Dallas World Aquarium and the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. The Adolphus offers several dining options, including the famous French Room. Do not miss the luxurious afternoon tea service. The cherry-citrus scones are to die for.
A fun fact: The Adolphus is rumored to have hosted famous guests like Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, the Rolling Stones, and several presidents. Standing at 22 stories, it was also the state’s tallest building for more than a decade after its construction.

5.

Rosewood Mansion On Turtle Creek

Address:

2821 Turtle Creek Boulevard

Price:

$351-4249/night

Set in a stunning mansion built nearly a century ago, one of the most luxury hotels in Dallas, embodies timeless elegance and Southern hospitality. Surrounded by lush gardens in the upscale Turtle Creek neighborhood, the Mansion’s Spanish Colonial Revival architecture showcases its rich history, making a stay here an experience I definitely recommend.
The hotel’s 142 rooms and suites are elegant and peaceful, feeling more like a private cottage or apartment than a hotel. Of course, with a pool, an upscale spa, and some of the city’s best dining, you will find reasons for a hotel tour.
The Mansion’s long-standing eponymous restaurant serves gourmet cuisine with a Texas twist (and is famed for its delicious tortilla soup), while the hotel’s convenient location allows easy access to city attractions like the Katy Trail and the Dallas Museum of Art.

6.

The Statler Dallas, Curio Collection by Hilton

Address:

1914 Commerce Street

Price:

$204-1025/night

A true icon of mid-century modern architecture, The Statler Dallas blends vintage charm with contemporary amenities. Initially opened in 1956 at The Statler Hilton – an architectural wonder at the time – the hotel has since been meticulously restored to its former glory and offers a variety of room types, including spacious suites with panoramic city views.
While many of Dallas’s top hotels are closer to the Uptown neighborhood, The Statler is downtown, something that I find very convenient as it is close to both the Dallas World Aquarium and the historic Deep Ellum neighborhood, among other attractions.
Dining options include glitzy steakhouse LVI, casual breakfast spot Overeasy, and underground lounge Bourbon & Banter. What sets The Statler apart is its retro vibe, showcasing original architectural details and a nod to its glamorous past.

7.

Le Méridien Dallas, The Stoneleigh

Address:

2927 Maple Avenue

Price:

$215-3548/night

Originally built in 1923, The Stoneleigh, now under the upscale Le Méridien brand, showcases Art Deco architecture and retains its iconic exterior charm.
In the heart of Uptown, this hotel, fresh off a multi-million-dollar renovation, captures, in my opinion, the essence of Dallas’ rich heritage through its stylish rooms, particularly the penthouses, and upscale dining that even locals love – head to the popular Perle on Maple, which blends French bistro cuisines with Texas touches. (Don’t miss half-price bottles of wine on Wednesday nights.)
The courtyard pool area hosts parties and special events throughout the summer, and the convenient location – walking distance to much of Uptown’s gems – makes this Art Deco stunner the perfect blend of history, luxury, and a prime location.

8.

The Westin Dallas Downtown

Address:

1201 Main Street

Price:

$188-1207/night

Situated in the heart of downtown Dallas, The Westin offers contemporary comfort and convenient access to the city’s attractions. The hotel’s modern architecture blends seamlessly with the urban landscape, and brand loyalists will know exactly what to find in the spacious rooms.
Those wishing to explore outside the confines of their room can unwind at the rooftop pool or stay active in the fitness center. The Westin Dallas Downtown is centrally located, making exploring landmarks such as the Sixth Floor Museum and the Dallas Arts District easy, while it also offers a couple of different dining options, including Grill & Vine, a healthful restaurant that serves regional cuisine, flatbreads, salads, and more.
What sets The Westin apart is its focus on wellness, providing amenities and programs to promote a healthy lifestyle, making it an ideal stay for business travelers, leisure travelers, and wellness enthusiasts.

9.

Omni Dallas Hotel

Address:

555 South Lamar Street

Price:

$192-1682/night

Rising 23 stories above downtown Dallas, the Omni Dallas Hotel impresses with its contemporary architecture and panoramic city skyline views. The hotel’s sleek design and modern interiors create an atmosphere of sophistication, while the 1,001 spacious rooms are elegantly furnished, featuring luxurious amenities and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Don’t let the mega-hotel status here scare you, though; service is impeccable, and guests can enjoy amenities like the hotel’s rooftop infinity pool, fitness center, and full-service Mokara Salon & Spa. The Omni Dallas Hotel is also conveniently connected to the Dallas Convention Center and is close to popular attractions like the Reunion Tower and the Dallas World Aquarium.
One highlight of this unique hotel is the trademark LED light show that illuminates the exterior of the building in vibrant colors during the evenings.

10.

Hotel ZaZa Dallas

Address:

2332 Leonard Street

Price:

$351-1620/night

Hotel ZaZa Dallas offers a unique and eclectic experience in Dallas’s vibrant Uptown neighborhood. In addition to being smaller than many competitors, ZaZa is known for its artistic and bohemian-inspired design.
What I love is the fact that each room is individually decorated with bold colors and avant-garde furnishings, creating a truly distinctive atmosphere that feels more like you’re staying in your hip, quirky auntie’s house, as opposed to a hotel. As a bonus, ZaZa is home to a trendy pool and all-day hotspot, Dragonfly, known for its fusion cuisine and vibrant ambiance.
If you choose to stay by the pool, make sure you choose Cabana Bar on the 7th floor and enjoy not only the view of Downtown Austin and Republic Square Park, but also one of the signature cocktails. I cannot leave without enjoying a Zaza Rita! (If you can handle it, ask for it spicy).
