10.0 Wonderful

Pros:Good location. Large pool, but closes at 9. Rooms were kept clean, but the floor was ALWAYS wet. The pipes seemed to keep the grout wet and if mopped, the floor would still be wet 8 hrs later. Associated dive shop made daily diving easy - but the groups were large and the dives short (45 mins, then they surface regardless of air or conditions).
Cons:Lots of facilities that I didn't want - it was all-inclusive and I didn't realize when I booked. Couldn't order food. Since I didn't pay for the all-inclusive, I was told I could just buy individual meals / drinks - I couldn't. They only tried to get me to pay a lot for the buffets I didn't want. I ordered tacos and they were terrible - completely Americanized. I never ate or drank at the hotel after that first order.

Pros:Same staff as 3 years ago. Very friendly and competent. Food and drinks very good. Comfortable atmosphere. Lots of returning guests. Great when occupancy low.
Cons:Dive center pricey, makes negotiations painful for package deals. No cash refunds for unused dives. But dive operators are good, and again many of the same providers as last time.

Pros:Nice hotel but not a luxury hotel. Room was clean and well appointed. Hotel is not on the beach although it says private beach. It is mainly a scuba diver hotel. This is also a great place to learn to dive if you're interested. the staff are friendly and helpful. Beautiful huge pool. Not close to town although it is walkable or you can rent a scooter or car at the hotel and plan excursions.

Pros:Direct access to Dive Paradise via walkway. Hotel staff is truly friendly. It seems important to all staff that You have a great vacation. Rooms promptly serviced each morning. Food was quite good and reasonably varied for all inclusive. Great value for the money. Well located, only $6 cab ride to town center. I intend to stay here again.
Cons:Nothing stood out as lacking. It is not the "El Presidente" but is priced so much lower.

Pros:Have stayed many times over a 15 year period. Have always been happy with stay. Great staff and even better location, with downtown and grocery store (we do not do all-inclusive).
Cons:Compared to past experiences, this year's maid staff left quite a bit to be desired.

Cons:Beds a little too basic, could do with more pillows and blankets in the room, but I didn't ask for any.

Pros:staff was okay, except the girl making breakfast. What a snot. If youget the all inclusive option (I wouldn't, too many better places to eat on the islan) then they charge you for everything. Even had to pay for a cup of coffee before breakfast.
Cons:its one of the older places on the island. Its also pretty far from the better dive sites. I prefer to be on the south end so the boat ride is shorter. Go south, get a condo.

Pros:Hotel Cozumel is great. It is like returning home. We have been there 4 times. Raul the manager, Guadeloupe. & Consuelo at the front desk are great. We love it there & will return.
