Cons:When I arrived on property they were no staff behind the desk or in the lobby are nowhere to be seen it was like a ghost town there was a lonely old man sitting in the lobby he had lost his luggage and apparently somebody the only person that was in the hotel was looking for it waited 20 minutes to check in did not end up checking in once I walked inside of the lobby and I seen the old man I started noticing how filthy everything was the garbage was running over they were dirty socks somebody had kicked aside and left the windows were covered in filth fingerprints the floors were very dirty there was garbage spread about no staff to be seen whatsoever not a single person

Pros:It was my goal to find affordable lodging near the beaches for a last minute get-a-way. The pool (heated, large) turned out to be a main attraction for my teens and they preferred to be at the hotel. Staff was friendly, helpful. Breakfast each morning was convenient and enough to satisfy the family. Rooms were quiet, dark and comfortable for sleeping.
Cons:Bathroom was damp, musty. Maids neglected floors with daily service and missed our room completely one day.

Pros:The pre-check in service allowed me to have in the room things, such as extra pillows and towels, that I would have otherwise needed to ask for after checking in. The hotel location was good and the outside was kept up well. The bathroom was roomy and had a lot of counter space and room for 2 people in it at once, if necessary.
Cons:The room looked and felt old and needed some renovation. The mattresses were softer and a bit misshapen, indicating they were old. And the bathroom faucets, etc., had pitting and corrosion on the surface. It just seemed like it really needed some renovation considering the price we paid, which wasn't terribly expensive for a place so close to Sanibel, but we still expected an updated facility. The breakfast was OK, but they started putting things away at 9 AM, so you couldn't sleep in!

Pros:Average low budget chain hotel except the nightstand had a big booger smeared on it and the carpet had a bunch of crumbs and toenail clippings on it. I asked the front desk if they could have someone vacuum the next time they cleaned the room but didn't notice a difference when I came back later.
