Pros:Reception staff very friendly. Good location. Breakfast was OK. As someone who has travelles frequently I know how things work. Anyone new coming here would have no idea what to do at breakfast time as no-one working there spoke to anyone!
Cons:Double room was awful. The smallest room I've ever stayed in. I take the view that we were only sleeping there but the mattress was shot and the bathroom was the smallest I've seen - again only a place to shower, but a hotel stay should be comfortable. Room was right next door to where the fresh bedding and cleaning kit was, so could hear every door open and every trolley being pushed. Double glaze the windows and ask the team to consider their guests going forward.

Pros:Fantastic staff, very responsive, and very convenient location.
Cons:The showerhead in the shower could use upgrading, but the bath was excellent.

Pros:Location and cleanliness are the only positives I can really say about this hotel.
Cons:No air conditioning in rooms, staff were very friendly but unhelpful at the same time and the beds are quite uncomfortable to sleep in. It's would be a last resort if I'd stay here again.

Pros:Staff very polite and helpful, location convenient and easily accessible. The decor downstairs and the garden area in the back were tastefully done
Cons:Although reception area was very clean, fresh and modern in appearance, the rooms are quite old and perhaps need refurbished. The toilet (with no sink for hand washing) was separate to to the bathroom in the rooms which is a bit odd but probably due to lack of space in the layout of the room. But can't really fault the hotel as really good value!

Pros:Location and stuff at the reception desk. Free luggage storage for early check-iners. Smoked fish in "English breakfast". 1 pound per day storage of your luggage AFTER check out. That was also convenient. However, expect to pay cash. Would I go back to this hotel? Very unlikely.
Cons:Size of the rooms is very small. Yes, I am a spoiled American. Metal keys for rooms with huge metal sticks attached to them (so, you will not take it with you) - that was weird in 21st century. What I really did not like is the stuff in the breakfast area. The guys are from Middle East, not too adapted to the level of service in the Western world. Very rude. In the first day, I was seated at some table. I already got some food and then I was asked to move to another table, because my table was reserved. That did not feel very good. Also, who knew that there is a difference between "English breakfast" and "Continental breakfast"? Moreover, I supposed to read the list of items, which are attributed to each type of a breakfast and then go and pick those items. Really? I don't know who came up with that idea, but it's completely stupid from customer's satisfaction standpoint. By the way, "continental breakfast" includes only cereal and toasts with juice. That's it. If you take eggs and sausages, you supposed to pay extra, because they are part of "English breakfast".
