food, enjoyed being able to have waitress service in some restaurants in evening , not always a buffet
bathroom- wet area never drain away so whole room flooded after shower , asked 2 times to it be be cleaned but nothing helped / no evidence anyone tried to clean it

Room was a junior suite and was really spacious, clean, airy and nice.
Check in took ages and there was only one group in front of us. Too much paperwork to fill in at the desk. Could easily have been done online and just needed a signature. Food was of poor quality in the buffet and that is the only place we experienced. Zero air conditioning other than the room which meant eating was very uncomfortable due to the humidity. Swim up bar was a joke. One guy serving and many people wanting drinks, chaotic as everyone asking and no order to the queue.

This was our second time to this resort. It's huge and has a lot to do. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The property is full of plants and wildlife. The gardens are beautiful and gives you a chance to see many iguanas. There is always good food available and the rooms are very clean and modern.
Totally NOT the hotels fault- but the beach and ocean were full of seaweed. They did their best to clean up the beach, but there was just too much to keep up with. I believe it was just the time of year. Still enjoyed our time!

The bartender Oscar at the pool bar was amazing!
Do not waste your time. The food was horrible. You can’t eat at all the al la carte restaurants. Staff was very rude. Oscar the bartender at the pool bar was the best thing/person that they have to offer.

This is a 5-star resort, one of a kind resort. It is made of two hotels, and it was inspired by Mayan culture. It has two miles of beaches and so much more.
The resort features three pools, a lazy river, open-air lounges, two buffet-style restaurants, eight other restaurants, 11 bars, a coffee shop, a disco, theatre, spa, mini supermarket, shops, laundry, medical center, and 946 suites. Guests of the resort have pretty much everything that they need here.
The rooms have many great features as well. Guests will enjoy large beds, sitting areas, iron, flat-screen televisions, luxury bathrooms, gaming console, whirlpool and massage jet shower, in-room safe, bathrobe, slippers, hairdryer, mini bar, air conditioning, coffee maker, ceiling fans, microwave, WiFi, and work desk.
Guests of the hotel will love the amenities that they have here. The bilingual staff is very friendly and can help guests with any questions that they may have about the area. There is a lot of Mayan culture and history to explore here, and guests of the hotel will be in for a treat when it comes time to travel around the area more.
