A really surly, unwelcoming arrival. The condos are pretty run down. The beach is nice (despite the seaweed) and the rooftop bar was totally deserted - but what a lovely, friendly barman!

Upgraded to beachfront condo because our pool view room looked dark, outdated and small. Condo was beautiful but the upgrade was expensive. On site restaurant was excellent & great price. We ate there every meal but u either took food back to room or at at pool since the restaurant didn't have a dining area. Beach was beautiful but had seaweed piled up and constantly washing ashore...not hotels fault.
Update pool & garden rooms.

It ended up being such a great time. We didn’t realize the location was 30 minutes from tulum until we arrived but it worked out in our favor and we had a wonderful time (at a far better rate)... a happy accident, if you will. The beaches were quieter and sandier than tulum. And it’s so close to akumal and the best cenotes. DEFINITELY rent a car, but every moment is worth it. Thank you!!
