The bed was excellent.

The hotel was close to the center. We get a card to use the public transport, and we reached the the old town in 15 minutes. Rooms were very tidy and nice. The free coffee corner at the reception was a nice surprise with various choices. The drinks were good in the hotel's bar too. The staff was very helpful. So everything was perfect.

Love the location - close to grocery store and walking path and work.

Staff were extremely helpful; the rooms were comfortable; there was a lot choice for breakfast, catering for different tastes/needs including gluten-free options (although we could never quite get the coffee machine to produce decent decaf). Free hot and cold drinks in the lobby were very welcome. It's very close to a bus route (which was ideal for us as we were visiting relatives, but it's not particularly close to the centre of Basel).
There are not many places to eat locally, just a steak restaurant associated with the hotel and a couple of fast-food places in the shopping centre next door.
