Pros: Good location in the middle of the village and also close to the harbour where the ship to Helgoland departed. Complete continental breakfast. A lot of parking spaces in the hotel garden.

Pros: Very warm, informal welcome and spotless - and I mean really spotless, even by German standards! Comfy beds. Wifi worked well and was easy to connect to, which is very rare in rural Germany.

Cons: Problem to pay with card but it was probably just an occassional problem with their connection to the bank.

Cons: A kettle, or at least glasses, and body wash/soap in the bathroom would have been nice. Also, we had a terrace but only one chair on it for a double room.
