Cons: We never got a car. I was told they rented all the cars to others and did not have one for us. I called to tell them we were on our way and they could not find our reservation. Then they found it and said they couldn't find it because I put it in my husbands name. We both have the same name. Worst experience we ever had. We needed to get to the airport.

Was not told extra charge would apply to drop off.
Cons: Poor customer service in not insuring I understood office would be closed and airport office would charge for intercity drop off. So 24 hour rental was not 24 hour and rental cost 30$ more than if I had just rented from airport from the start. Agent had plenty of time to shoot the breeze about cats

The customer service was outstanding !!
Pros: Lisa was the associate who handled my car rental agreement. She was very personable and extremely helpful. I will definitely come back to Hertz again when I need to rent a car.

Pros: I called Hertz to ask a question about my car reservation and they said there was NO reservation. I have filed a complaint with AMEX. I want my money returned as Hertz said they did not have a reservation and I was forced to pay for a MUCH more expensive option.

so disappointed with the Santa Rosa facility
Cons: I have a serious problem with a facility that has no phone or internet. Hertz has a makeshift location now on Santa Rosa ave that has no way of communicating with their customers. Also how can hertz allow you to make a car reservation after 12 noon on saturday when the facility isnt even open??? I reserved a car and when I showed up the front doors were locked and no one was inside. The hours were put on the window as closing at 12 noon.

Customer Service Needs Major Work
Pros: I appreciated that, at the end, some effort was made to correct what was turning into a negative situation.
Cons: The desk attendants were incredibly unfriendly, bordering on rude, very condescending, and did not appear to want to help me, even when I walked away to go to a competitor.
Pros: All of the staff were wonderful but Kenny took great care of us!

Pros: Pick-up attendant was very accommodating after we realized that I had accidentally selected a different location.
Cons: There was a discrepancy at drop off related to whether I had accepted liability coverage. I was told the pick-up location would call to resolve it and help me get an accurate receipt. That has not happened and when I called their phone number, I am unable to get through to anyone
