Cons: Hertz confirmed the car was there, no car and no help. After 30 minutes on the phone they directed me to another hertz location 30 miles away, but when i got there, again no car was available..ill never use hertz again, or kayak..what a joke they both are.

Pros: I liked that you can add extra drivers for no additional fee.
Cons: After we got to Hertz to pick up the car, they still had to clean it. When you are driving 20+ hours it would be great if the car were ready when you scheduled to pick it up. We called to see if we could change our reservation and were treated poorly by customer service at that location. Just say no, no need to berate us. It didn't help that they made us wait outside in the hot sun for an hour while we waited for it to be clean. The workers also were commenting on illegal substances they found in the cars when they should have been helping customers, which was beyond unprofessional. Not impressed with this company at all.

Pros: Used Hertz for years
Cons: Car was damaged on front end. Smelled of heavy smoke, and was not clean upon pickup.
I used to think Alamo was bad. As a Hertz #1 member. I hate to say, this will probably be my last.

Slight improvement in service
Pros: Customer representative as kind and took the time to have a conversation with us about our experience.
Cons: Our car was also not inspected at pickup so when we returned it, we were accused of putting a large dent in one of the doors, which we did not, and had no proof we did not because it was not inspected prior to our leaving our pick-up location. Customer rep at drop-off location was kind and apologized for not having the vehicle inspected prior to our leaving the pick-up location. Overall, I am very unsatisfied with out experience and will not be using Hertz again.
