Pros: Hertz employee suggested we walk across the street and try at Enterprise. Enterprise had a mini-van available for us, and gave us a better price than Hertz.
Cons: The Hertz employees didn't take responsibility for the situation, other than to offer us a midsize SUV as a comparable vehicle - which wasn't even close to the carrying capacity we required. They hadn't called some of the other Hertz locations until we asked them to. They kept saying it wasn't their fault that they didn't have the vehicle that we reserved. It was the fault of other customers who hadn't returned vehicles on schedule.

Pros: The price was the best out of all rental companies.
Cons: I reserved a rental car from Hertz at least one week before I NEEDED the rental. I was supposed to pick up the car at noon; Hertz called me at 10:48 the day of to tell me no cars were available. I told the representative that my scheduled would have worked better if they could have, at least, called me the day before. The representative told me that they weren't allowed to call the day before. Wow! Hertz really placed me in a bind. I will never EVER reserve anything from Hertz again!
