The location of the hotel is very nice, and there is easy parking around, the staff is friendly and the rooms are spacious, it's a good stay if you are planning to go around Covilha and go up the Serra da estrela
Few small details will make it much better like, more power outlets in the rooms, hangers in the room and the bathroom, the breakfast is nice but can have more varieties of cheese /eggs.. Etc and the access to the restaurant in the breakfast is depending mainly on only 1 elevator which is tricky in crowded times

Overall impression is of a run down and poor;ly maintained hotel. Car park closed. Hotel undergoing maintetance with lots of noise during the day. No restaurants close by. One small lift to service all the floors. No electrical plugs in the room - to reduce costs one supposes!. Breakfast the bare minimum with very limited choice.
