The facilities and room were in very good condition and the lobby and pool area are beautiful.
At check-in, which took a very long time and was intensively focused on checking our identity documents and making photocopies of it, the single Tunisian woman we were traveling with was pulled aside by hotel staff and asked if she is married and with whom she would be sharing her room. We found this to be an invasion of privacy. It was a very uncomfortable welcome to the hotel. We were also asked to pay for our entire stay in advance, which felt cheap on the part of the hotel. This is not standard practice at all hotels in Hammamet.
