Easy to book
Room looks cheap than value
Great location. Room was clean and comfortable. We slept well and enjoyed our stay.
There are potential noise issues here depending on neighbors and room location. We were lucky on both fronts, although the view from our window certainly left a lot to be desired.
Large clean room that didn’t look outdated.
Nothing.
Room in general
Clean toilet, shower sink.
Room very run down from carpet to furniture, bed was uncomfortable, furniture was very ugly almost like motel 6, carpet felt dirty and old.
Easy going vacation in great location
The staff was the best part of the stay - so accommodating with all requests and generally pleasant. Was also kept very clean in both the room and common areas. Loved the convenience of the in room fridge as well as the fantastic balconies.
If city noise bothers you, perhaps choose another site. I was on the 18th floor and could hear the street traffic very clearly. However it’s a city, so that should be expected. I live in a noisy area anyways so this was ok for me. The pillows though were soooo terrible. Flat awful things. Really, they were the only bad part of the trip.
Central location for East Waikiki activities
Longtime HHonors member, first time Hilton Garden Inn visitor. Quality accommodations and amenities as expected, with convenient Holoholo shop and grocery. Recommend to all travel types.
No disappointments.
Good location with easy access to waikiki beach. Has a Food Pantry supermarket next door. Has ethnic restaurants close buy like a very popular Udon place. Having a small balcony was nice. Gold/Platinum breakfast benefit included either a basic buffet with omelets and the like, or you could use it for a specific number of drinks with fruit or a breakfast sandwich at the market in the lobby. The buffets had good OJ and Pineapple Juice. Hotel has free coffee/tea and flavored water in the lobby at breakfast or during checkin time.
Checkin agent didn't recognize status and would have not given us our breakfast vouchers if i had not asked, that also promoted the offer of two free waters based on our status (gold). Breakfast was the same both days. Also a bit surprised that the only asian influence to breakfast was plain white rice. I would have thought that there would be some other asian influence to the buffet.
parking sucked
i loved the overall hotel, stay was amazing , super clean , staff were really nice.
parking!!! 35$ for valet parking each day you stay?? crazy!!!! def try and do street parking !!!
Activities desk disappointment
The activities desk. Spoke with one gentleman who was unable to arrange car reservations or recommend alternate modes of transportation and tried to get me to sit through a 90-min timeshare spiel, then waited a 1/2hr to speak to the Expedia lady, only to find out there weren't compact cars available to rent. Walked over to front desk & discussed options to get to Kailua beach. Front desk guys were super nice & gave great recommendations that made my trip great.
Clean and convenient
This was in a great location. Everything was new and clean. I enjoyed my stay. Would use this place again.
