Needs work
Close to where I had to be
The elevators broke down twice, two days in a row. Had to walk down stairs. They charge 25$ for their parking services even if your car is there for 2 hours. No discount or any type of remorse with the elevator breaking down.
The view was absolutely gorgeous and the AC worked great.
Mattress wasnt very comfortable, construction bring done on elevator which is very small. Get crammed with people and takes forever to come up and down. Parking is an extra $25 unless you want to find parking on the street.
Huge disappointment!
We liked the View from the room and location. Furniture was falling apart.
Both elevators were broken and we were on 38th floor. No one there for check-in. Charge 50 for towel.
needs improvement.
I loved how close it was too the mall and other attractions of Waikiki. The large windows allowed a beautiful view.
When we first got into our room it was supposed to be a queen bed but we got to very hard twin beds, the floors were still covered in sand, and one of the elevators was broken so it took a very long time for us to get to and from our room.
Not a vacation stay
Was close to shopping food and beach. Full kitchenette with stove fridge sink dishes coffee maker and microwave
Parking A rough driving valet only parking $25 a day Room Very morbid room that looks like you're in the early stages of the sims. Stove dials didn't have markings so you have to guess whether or not you turned it to hot or low. 2 twin beds, thin mattress hard springs, no comforter. Paint peeling from walls. If you are on a floor under floor 30 you have no view. Staff seems clueless. Cupboard door hinges aren't fitted correctly so some doors are stuck open. Very slow elevators. Took an average of 15 or more minutes to leave hotel. There are better places for the price.
Elevators working well but noisy!
Room had a great ocean view and very clean.
Workers could be more friendly and new beds!
Great customer service and location
The staff were ultimate professionals, the view was amazing, and you couldn't ask for a better location at the price.
The room had a good view of the ocean, and the sunrise was very pleasant. There was a small kitchenette, and although we didn't avail ourselves of it, I can see that it would come in handy for a longer stay. The location was great, right on the main artery of Waikiki. Shopping, dining, and beaches are all easily accessible by foot, or if you get tired, there are frequent busses along the route. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.
Fixtures and appliances were very old and worn, laminate was peeling off of the cabinetry. The shower was tiny. I wanted to make our first night in Hawaii a special one, which Is why I got the 'deluxe' room. Perhaps naively, I was expecting the room to be in better condition for the price. But to be honest, waking up to the ocean at sunrise on your first night in the tropics makes small annoyance about the room seem pretty insignificant
Good views as we were on the 35th floor, plenty of storage, close to beach.
i lift working so long waits, not sufficient kitchen equip, but supplied on request and AC sounded like an aircraft carrier so too noisy to use
only credits go to front desk staff who were polite and helpful..
I'll skip the minor problems and go directly into the big issues:- 1.The first room given to me has a ceiling with falling paint and in fact a big slice of the paint was lying on the desk 2.The toilet started overflowing upon the first flush (!!!!!!!) and was so serious that it started wetting the carpet of the room in less than a minute!!!! 3.After being transferred to the 2nd room, we requested for a roll-over bed. The front desk staff did mention that the room was a bit too small for the extra bed but still agreed to send me the bed. I am totally surprised when returning to the room finding the bed standing vertically in the middle of the room. classic.
realy nice view to ocean...good locaton to waikiki center and alamona shopping center.
front desk reception not available most of the time. please let customers know they can use next door hotel's reception.
I enjoyed my view from the 40th floor, especially from the roof or 41st floor. Even the elevator, as treacherous as they seemed, had a wonderful view.
No DVD player or ability to order films, the remote control was not programmed to the television. The toilet is installed in a ridiculous location. The general out lay of the room is that at one point there was one pent house on the top floor and rather than split it into two sweet rooms, they broke it into four strange and inconvenient rooms. Total fire hazard with the stairs.
