The "City of Light" meets the city of sin at Paris Las Vegas. The centrally-located, Parisian-themed hotel boasts a replica Eiffel Tower, a mock Arc de Triomphe and French restaurants mixed with Las Vegas shows and nightclub. The vibe: Charming, France without the language barrier, faux French architecture What we love: Location, location, location. Paris is centrally located right in the heart of the Strip near Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, which means it's really easy to walk to several other tourist attractions and major hotels nearby. Mon Ami Gabi has been a Las Vegas favorite for years and they pioneered the art of outdoor dining on the Strip. The charming French restaurant serves escargots, steak frites, onion soup and offers a nice wine selection, but the real highlight is the outdoor patio overlooking Las Vegas Boulevard. It's one of the best people-watching spots in town and there's a great view of the Bellagio Fountains across the street. The Eiffel Tower is one of the world's most famous landmarks and while Paris Las Vegas' replica is about half the size of the original, it's still an impressive attraction. Cross Le Pont Alexandre III, step into the beautiful glass elevator, and ride to the top of the tower, which boasts spectacular views of the Fountains of Bellagio, the Strip and the outlying city.  Temperamental celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has several restaurants around town, but we think his Gordon Ramsay Steak, a London-themed restaurant at Paris Las Vegas, is the best. The signature dish that everyone raves about is the beef Wellington, but if you don't want anything that extravagant, you can also get Ramsay's famous fish and chips. Insider tips: Paris and the adjacent Bally’s hotel share a parking garage. The two properties are also connected via a walkway filled with shops so you can easily go back and forth between the two hotels and enjoy the amenities of both. Good to know: Paris Las Vegas really tries to give you an authentic Parisian experience, right down to the cobblestone streets. The uneven flooring that mimics cobblestones throughout the shopping area and parts of the casino can be a bit tricky to walk on – especially if you have your clubbing heels on. What shows and concerts are playing at the Paris?: The Paris Las Vegas has no shows available currently but it has plenty of natural ambiance to enjoy. Smoking on the ground floor means walking into a smelly environment right from the start. They offer "quick check-in kiosks", none of which work. They all just say "Your room isn't available yet, give us your email and we'll alert you when it is ready" (this at 9:30 pm). Waiting in a long queue to talk to an actual person, who of course checks us in immediately, but only after a 30-minute wait to be seen. The listed price on Kayak didn't include the "RESORT FEE", which far exceeded the nightly rate, making my stay nearly 2.5x what I was expecting when I booked it. Our room was on a non-smoking floor, but on our second morning there I woke up to distinct cigarette smoke smells so it was getting to us anywhere. I guess it's just like "Vegas" 🙄 The "free wifi" was only free for "2 devices" so after needing to use my laptop for 2 minutes upon arrival, it was not possible for my girlfriend and I to both access wifi on our phones because one of our two devices had been used. How much is it to get wifi on your 3rd device? The same price as a compact can of Pringles or a small box of M&M's from the minibar: $15. No thanks to all of that. Just felt like I was being nickle and dimed for everything from the moment I walked into the smokey place. But everything was clean, and well-maintained, and the location was good, etc. So win some, lose some I guess.

Eating in the hotel restaurants is quite pricy, as most of the places around the strip. Overall the staff and customer service was outstanding. 👍🏼👍🏼

Cons:When preparing to take shower we had no wash clothes to clean ourselves or floor mats to prevent slip and fall. I had to contact housekeeping to get these items but had already showered using a hand towel.

Cons:Any time I was in a public space there I felt cramped. Often people ran into me or were close to doing so. I also didn’t appreciate the constant sales pitches that happened every time we came back to the hotel.

Cons:We paid significantly more for a pet friendly room. When we walked into the room the first thing we noticed was an undeniable stench from dog urine. Additionally there were nearly a dozen urine stains on the carpets throughout the room. We immediately asked for a new room and the manager was extremely rude acting as if this request was unreasonable. They offered us a smoking room instead. This was not exactly an option as my wife is pregnant. After explaining this the manager had the audacity to roll her eyes in front of me. They then offered to comp the resort fee and indicated that they would move us to a new room the following day. I recieved a call at 9 PM the following day indicating that a room was available. When we went to check-out, the resort fee had not been comp'd and they had charged us for using valet which we did not do. When I went to address this they were rude an unapologetic. I have never been so dissapointed in a hotel. As someone who frequently travels to Las Vegas, I can say I will never go to Paris or any other Ceasar's resort ever again. The Paris front desk manager and front desk staff were just horrible to us.

Cons:Late Check-In services could have been better arranged. Only one person at the counter and the electronic machines close at Midnight. Waited 45 mins even though arrangements were made in advance. On top of it all the trouble, the room view was awful.
