Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owner are very friendly and accommodating even the staff who greeted us with a smile on his face. He even share some great place to visit. Staff is also very responsive he is literally one text away. Also the cleanliness is 10/10, you can feel that the sheets and towels are clean. Since its pandemic they even have a sterilizer for the utensils, plates, cups and glass. Area is very clean. Yung tipong kahit saan ka umupo walang alikabok 👍👏👏👍. Its my second time to stay in Balai Tinay Guest house 1st was way back 2014 with my friends and now 2021 with family and I can say that there's a huge improvement. They even have a parking area na safe ang sasakyan mo. 😁. Worth it ang stay tahimik makakpag rest ka talaga and bonus pa ang view ni Mayon kitang kita talaga sya.
Cons: None experience is Super Great
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The host was very nice, the whole accomodation offers so much to have a wunderful stay in Legazpi, Kitchen, Relax terrace, large breakfast and dinning room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Comfortable guest house, good breakfast, good internet, short walk to main road.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Ambiance is nice. Amenities are complete. Good for group of travelers & backpackers.. Okay breakfast. Clean with good drinking facility. Accommodating personnel! Close to Cagsawa ruins & Capitol as well as the center of the city.
Cons: Narrow street not good for big vehicles. Parking can be a problem.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The peace and quiet in the hotel and surrounding areas. The place is a little hard to find for our friends yet accessible to areas, like groceries and dinners. The owners and staff are on hands on basis in their friendly dealings with us.
Cons: we got what we wanted yet short of our expectations that rooms are bigger.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The management upgraded my reservation for free to accommodate my request for a room in thenground floor. I needed the room at the gf because my frail mother cannot climb up the stairs to the 2nd floor where the room i originally booked was.
Excellent 8.0
Cons: Sewer smell in the basic bathroom on the 1st floor.
Excellent 10.0
We had an unforgettable experience staying here at Balai Tinay! Truly a home away from home. Thank you for being such a wonderful hosts. Special thanks for Gerson being attentive to all our needs. :)
Excellent 8.4
Location is accessible. The only drawback for folks driving their cars is that the road leading to the property is narrow.
Good 7.5
Pros: The guesthouse is very cozy and nicely furnished. The air-conditioned rooms altho' quite compact is very clean and dainty. WiFi works well and fast. The staff are helpful and courteous. This lovely guesthouse provides complimentary coffee, tea, and there's a cold/hot water station.. In addition and most importantly, it was very considerate of the owner to refund our Senior Citizen's Discount plus they even arranged our transfer to Joroan in Tiwi, at an extra cost of course! To the Management and STAFF of Balai Tinay Guesthouse, thank you for the very pleasant stay we had and rest assured that we will return and also recommend you to our family, friends and colleagues... SALAMAT PO!!!
Cons: We reserved 2 rooms for 5 people, a double and a triple room. Unfortunately, our triple room had a double deck made of bamboo that is quite shaky and produces much noise with every move you make. The 1st deck was supposedly for 2 people but it's pitifully low and very narrow to allow you a comfortable sleep. The upper deck though is big enough for one... So in order to solve our problem, we traded rooms and the 3 of us used the double room furnished with two wide single beds while our two other companions used that tiny "triple" room, if you can call it that! I strongly suggest to the management to get rid of those double deck bamboo beds and provide each paying guest the comfort that he/she deserves! As for the location, it's quite a walk to get to the main road or one can take a tricycle (like a pedalled rickshaw).
Excellent 10.0
Our stay in this simple but nice & clean guesthouse is a memorable one. The moment we alighted from the taxi, Jerson is already at the gate to welcome & assist us. He is very helpful, friendly & accommodating. After leading us to our room, he volunteered to order for our food since they don’t have a restaurant where guests can have dinner. I've got nothing to complain. The place is exquisite and unique in its own way. I loved it.

Very homey
Excellent 8.8
Pros: We love our stay at Balay dela Rama. The room she gave us is big enough and comfortable. Caren and the rest of the staff are very helpful. We came from a very early flight and we greatly appreciate that they let us check-in early to have some time to rest. Overall, good experience and homey place.
Cons: Nothing really.. shower didn’t work on our first night but they sort it out immediately so not a problem..
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Karen was very accomodating
Cons: None
Good 6.0
Pros: the staff are attentive, they usually ask my breakfast menu.
Cons: The place is mediocre in apperance, smack at a crossroad, there nothing in the room, the bed mattress is cheapy foam with bedcover and a flimsy bed sheet, the bathroom are dirty and no amenities soap, shampoo and 2 towels for a week stay, the outlets in the room are loose, i watch for live wire. There was NO television and internet(WIFI)during my stay and have spend a ton of money to buy data while at work.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Caren the host was very accommodating. She gave us the info we needed to go around the area. Our visit happened after the typhoon Tisoy which affected the electricity of the area. Caren was apologetic about it and gave us a discount. She even told us we could move to another place without charging us, but we loved the authenticity of Balay de la Rama. It's near the sights and transpo wasn't a problem. We will definitely come back. Thank you Caren.
Good 7.9
Pros: Lovely B&B with great Filipino breakfast. Close to activities in Mt. Mayon and airport. Nice balcony with partial view of Mayon. Host and staff were delightful and service was excellent. Expect basic room and amenities.
Cons: The shower was very weak and a few creepy crawlies.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They waited for us even we arrived very late. Traditional Filipino breakfast was good, especially the banana fritters for dessert.
Cons: The bathroom in the deluxe room was leaking and the water pressure was very low we were not able use the shower on the second day. We booked 5 rooms and note that this only happened to one of the rooms.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: the host/staff , very accommodating
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The room was very spacious and nicely located. The hotel is a bit far from the center but very close from Cagsawa ruins, which is a plus. The lady at the reception was super helpful too.
Cons: Unfortunately wifi on our floor didn't work, but it wasn't a problem to use the one upstairs (just not from the room). Breakfast could have been better, should've opted for non-filipino version instead.

Excellent 10.0
Spacious, modern and clean rooms Centrally located Different art works on all floors - it’s like an art gallery Decent set breakfast Highly recommended
Good 6.8
Our stay was not pleasant starting on our check-in. There was no electricity from 2PM to almost 6PM. It is understandable if it's a few minutes to maybe an hour. but for 4 hours? and the fact that there are 2 hour blackout on 12AM and 6AM on our first day? Second day was better but still not acceptable. The air conditioning broke down and we needed to transfer to another room with a smaller bed (from a king size to a double bed). Lastly, wifi was to weak. I wasn't able to work on our first day because of that. On another note, staffs were very kind and attentive. They're very apologetic about the situation but in the end, it was not enough to compensate the inconvenience it brought us. We stayed on a hotel hoping that there will be comfort and relaxation but instead we got disappointed. It was a bad timing for us.
Excellent 9.2
Very nice hotel overall with alot of art on the walls throughout the premises. Clean big rooms to a low price. I can really recommend Apple peach hotel for anyone visiting Legazpi and Albay region.
Excellent 9.6
I arrived during a typhoon and yet they managed to serve very well and very personalised. You feel like at home. Room is big and spacious. Location is just walking distance from main road. Veranda is so cool. I love it
Excellent 10.0
Apple Peach House, a relaxing house to go home to in Albay after a tiring day of exploration. Good bed, nice T&B, good hearty breakfast very polite and accomodating staff.
Good 6.8
was not happy with the room that was provided for me as I was expecting a king sized bed that I chose during the time of booking. This is the first time that happened.I brought the issue to the concierge, they said that there is an available room but has a current plumbing issue.Kudos to staff who were super accommodating and friendly .I understand that its not their fault but the room should not be posted when its not available plus fact that there was power outage that lasted for minutes and no one even inform the guests.
Good 7.2
Hotel staff members were nice. However, toilet was not cleaned before I occupied the room as there were still toothpaste and used soap apparently owned by the previous guest. Also, I requested 5:30 a.m. airport transfers with the hotel manager (12 hours before check-out), but it was not coordinated with the front desk staff on duty and driver.
Good 6.8
When we arrived at the airport, we were told that they offer Car service but it was 1 hour already but they never showed up. However, they paid for the taxi that we took. The room was okay. It could use a fridge, because it was so hot in the Philippines, so we can put our bottle water.
Excellent 9.2
Check in is at 2 pm, but they gave us the key to our room at 11:30 am! Thank you for the early check in!
Excellent 9.2
There was no elevator (for pwds), no hot water available. Parking was limited. But the place was very artistic. Love it.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean and has a good ambiance...lots of learning and lesson in life while you are walking on the aisles or stairways...accommodating staff...
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly staff and location
Cons: Water Heater not working
Excellent 8.5
Situated in Legazpi, this hotel is near the airport and cathedral. Paintings are scattered all over the place. The rooms are quite bare and basic. But what matters is that it's clean and comfortable. A complimentary cooked to order breakfast is served each morning between 6 AM and 10 AM. The hotel staffs are very pleasant and accommodating. Staying in this hotel is money well spent. Management should not ignore the problem with their facilities and should hire a good maintenance team. There were mosquitoes inside the room. Room rates is too expensive for this kind of hotel. They don't have lifts, but lucky we got a room only on the second floor. WiFi was only available in the lobby.
Excellent 8.5
Apple Peach House is also one of hotels near from Legazpi City Museum and Legazpi City Museum and Liberty Bell. The staff are very warm and accommodating. I enjoyed looking at the paintings as well. Room is basic and clean. They even have welcome drinks. Best value for money! The hot shower in our room isn't functioning. The air con in the room is also weak. WiFi connection is weak. Limited parking area.
Excellent 10.0
Since we're out of the hotel most of the time, staying in an average hotel is not an issue for us. I like the lobby which showcases a lot of paintings, and the room has basic toiletries. The location is good - it's within walking distance to restaurants, Albay Plaza, church, and city hall where public transport is available. However, there's no elevator so this hotel may not be suitable for the elderly or PWD. It would be nice if there's an elevator for convenience, especially for senior citizens and PWD.

Excellent 9.6
The staff are super accomodating. They cleaned the room perfectly. Staffs are always smiling.
Excellent 8.0
Amazing experience. Free pick and and transport to airport... Furthermore they organized everything, our flight was early so they prepared us breakfast to go for free! They even called the agency for picking us up for the mayon vulcano tour.
Excellent 8.8
Blinds NOT WORKI6G TOWELS upon arrival has hair strand and does not seem to be newly washed Fast staff service Very clean
Excellent 10.0
The room has its own parking garage with doors and is very convenient. Our wedding was held here last Dec 2017 and we stayed for an overnight. The breakfast is very good and was served to us in our room. We stayed in a standard room just perfect for 2 persons. Everything is in order during our stay. From check in to check out. No issues were encountered.
Good 6.5
Staff was friendly. Very attentive. Food was nice. But you have to serve other breakfast besides hot dog. Your pizza's amazing by the way. Food in the lobby is a great idea. The room was okay. Sink in the bathroom leaks but that's fine. The aircon was a nightmare. It was so bad. I asked them to check it. Somebody came over and told us that unit might not be working. He also told us that we might change our room. But they did not get back to me and up to our check out our room was hot. Do something about it because SUMMER! All in all, it was okay but the AC kinda ruined our stay. I hope you do something about it. The only thing that I didn't like is the aircon since it's so hot that you can't even sleep properly. I wish I could have stayed in a room with an electric fan rather than staying in a room that has an aircon but it's not functioning properly.

Pros: The staff particularly the lady at the front desk (Cris) was very helpful and accommodating.
Cons: None
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: Breakfast choices was excellent. We chose their bacon and egg American breakfast.
Cons: Don’t be fooled with their “free shuttle service” as the airport is less than one (1) minute away by car from this hotel, I could have walked instead. :) We paid about Php 9,000 for the 2-nights. The hotel’s housekeeping personnel are the best. However, their restaurant staff/coffee shop servers instead of focusing unto their work in improving their customer service, they rather kept on gossiping about their guests which is not good. Very unethical and unprofessional.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Super good food and the aura of the venue feels like im out of the country and very acommodating staff
Cons: Shower, heater is hard to control
Good 7.5
Pros: Cleanliness.
Cons: Wifi connection was poor.
Good 7.5
Pros: Its worth coming back
Cons: None so far
Excellent 8.5
The hotel has a very good location. There are plenty of tourist attractions nearby, such as Albay Park and Wildlife and Bicol Heritage park. The Rooms are a little old but very clean. Breakfast was also included in the stay. The Hotel has nightly band provided for enjoyment of the guests. Staff is nice and accommodating. The air con was not working properly. very poor WiFi connection. Change the mattress its not comfortable to sleep.

Pros: Rooms are spacious and king beds available. And people are really nice and helpful. Location is perfect too because it is walking distance to several malls and markets. There’s a salon and massage parlor on site. Best of all, free breakfast is great! Love the food and the variety.
Cons: None that I can think of.

We stayed here for one night from 14 hours flight. Hoping it will give us an excellent service but we're devastated. We we’re not informed upon booking about the hotel situation. We were just tell upon checking in that there’s no electricity and just using generator for power. The front desk told us that generator will be turn off by 6pm to 7pm. I asked her if it will be on for the rest of the night and she said yes and it will be turn off again by 6am. I am sadden that they give us the wrong information. By 12am the generator was already off till 5am. We went downstairs twice to asked if when it will be turn on again. The front desk says 5am then the other guy who gave us the fan says it will be turn on by 4am instead of 5am. Sad to say 4am and 5am already passed but still to no avail. It was turn on by 5:10am. We have not sleep properly. We asked for 30% refund and still waiting.
Mediocre 2.8
Worst hotel experience ever. We stayed there few days after typhoon tisoy hit the area. Upon check in, we were informed that they can’t guarantee 24-hour power supply because they were just using generator. They only give 1 key card for door access and another 1 for power supply. I requested for extra key card for door access since we are 2 guests staying in 1 room. So the receptionist gave another keycard. I came back of the hotel earlier than my companion and unfortunately the extra keycard issued to us is not working so I had to go to the reception to have it checked. Then the receptionist told me that the extra keycard given to us is only for power supply. I told her that we requested an extra. She took the card and acted like she’s activating it then handed it back to me. Then she said if it still doesn’t work she’ll have me assisted by the housekeeping personnel. True enough, the keycard still doesn’t work. I had to wait few more minutes before I was able to enter the room. When we first enter the room, the smell was awful, there are no bath towels, no hand towels and no bathroom rag. The purified water provided is just a refill from water dispenser and not the sealed bottled water. The water in the bottle looked like it was staying there for ages. The complimentary sachets of coffee, creamer and sugar were soaked in water. We had to go out after check in so we requested the front desk to book us a cab but unfortunately they couldn’t find one. We asked if the hotel van could bring us to our destination even for a fee but we were told that we can only use it if we are going to the airport. Then around 9 or 10 pm the power supply were shut down. We waited 5 minutes thinking that they might just be switching generators. The power supply was not restored after 5 minutes so we called the front desk. The receptionist said “Wala po talaga kuryente kc brownout pa din and di po guarantee supply ng generator” There were no emergency light installed in the room and un
Okay 5.2
+ Friendly staff +really good location to explore Legazpi City - 5th floor rooms not recommended as you can really hear the function hall’s (6th floor) sound system and some construction being done (probably the pool which was not available at that time) - Rooms are really dark and light bulbs flickering - Room seems not cleaned enough as you can smell a little stench - Breakfast buffet does not have much variety - Bottled water tasted like tap water
Excellent 8.8
Excellent staff can’t fault anyone.
Okay 5.2
We had a hard time looking for the parking area. The security told us that it’s located at the back of the building but forgot to ask if we’re going to check in. We had to bring our belongings from the parking area to the reception. It was a bit tiring. Worst part of our stay is that we have experienced random knocks (three times) we opened on the second knock and asked the staff what was happening and he replied “sorry I got the wrong room” Unfortunately he knocked again for the third time and we just ignored it because we were already tired and sleepy.
Excellent 10.0
Nice hotel. With good customer service.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: No comment excellent services.
Cons: Shower vents too noisy

we booked for new years eve staycation. but was disappointed to learn upon arrival that the restaurant was closed, and so as the pool. we were not informed beforehand of the situation. we had our room upgraded so we can enjoy nlng the bath tub but to our disappointment the water was rusty. we waited for an hour for water to clear to no avail. plus there was dripping water from the ceiling because it was raining. we decided to transfer to another hotel. and i have to commend the front desk, mica, for her triple As customer service, she was calm and understanding, she assisted us with our transfer to misibis. we really appreciated it. despite the disappointments, we have to commend the staff for being so kind and courteous. we really felt their genuine concern to the customers. keep it up!
Excellent 8.5
Friendly staff, comfortable rooms. Excellent choice for breakfast (although machine made coffee was poor). Central position very handy for buses and trams to Venice. Some tends to be written off by the guidebooks but the city center is quite pleasant with some pedestrianized areas and plenty of good places to eat at night. Overall it was okay, decent location close to the bus, breakfast great, rooms very clean but could invest in some mosquito nets and better beds (not old hospital metal beds) and better towels (very poor). Staff was kind though and they made the rooms clean every day. The noise was terrible since some large group of tourists (kids) started playing hide and seek all night through the halls and the reception did not do anything about it. Also phonic isolation is kind of bad from one room to another.
Excellent 8.5
A comfortable and quiet hotel located near the airport. Beautiful surroundings which makes our stay more relaxing. The standard room is so small it does not compensate the price although the bed is really soft and comfortable. Bathroom has shower and water heater that has a unique design. They have a good selection for breakfast at the buffet. The staff are helpful and polite. Overall, a good stay! They have a pool but we were not able to use it since it is dirty. Took two days to clean. The staff are not so very accommodating especially the male staff in the reception area. They need to improve more on good customer service. Shower is not working properly. Though they have acknowledge it upon checked in but they did not do something to repair it.
Excellent 8.5
There are plenty of tourist attractions nearby, such as Albay Park and Wildlife. Food is Ok with not a large selection for lunch and dinner. Beautiful surroundings which makes our stay more relaxing. Slow Wi Fi conection. Staff is accommodating and attentive. I will recommend this to my friends and family. Deffinitly I will be back soon. Poor water pressure and unreliable hot water. NO elevator. The towels needs to be replaced.
Excellent 8.3
Everything was great but the room and the bed was too small. This was a standard room. and the bed was not queen size. on the top of everything the chair was awkward, ugly and taking a lot of space making it hard to move around this tiny thing. Location very convenient, close to everything and just steps away from the airport. Very quiet at night. Restaurant offers good food selection at reasonable prices. Buffet breakfast was great too.
