The reception staff were very pleasant upon arrival. The location was excellent.
The bar on the Friday was closed until 5pm with no explanation. I requested a first aid kit from reception and phoned twice for which they never provided. The TV in the bathroom was broken. The staff in the restaurant were rude and abrasive and the service was slow. It was extortionately overpriced even with the resident discount.

The location and stunning views of the Thames and London-Eye are a massive plus. The rooms are quite comfortable but don't expect an elegant breakfast.
Some areas of the hotel come across as dated. I didn't like the combined shower/bathtub set-up and would have preferred if the room came with a stand-alone overhead shower. The check-in time was ridiculously delayed, due to what front-desk staff termed as 'housekeeping'. This turned out to be a massive inconvenience, given that I'd been traveling for 10 hours non-stop and had an arrival itinerary which was disrupted.
