It was very conveniently situated and the English-speaking breakfast waitress kindly helped direct me to and write a French note to a local garage proprietor to explain that I needed a slow puncture fixed
They had only one croissant left when I and my wife arrived - last - for breakfast. They explained that young men who `had breakfast earlier "ate the lot" and they hadn't time to top up. Also the cereals choice was disappointing.

Hotel staffs are good English speakers and gave us very useful information for sightseeing. Location is good for especially car users. The room is minimalist but comfortable enough.

“Have stayed here before in 2017 and we were very happy to return for our last night in Lourdes. The staff are very friendly, helpful and polite with a great sense of humour. I even had a good conversation in French with one who actually understood me, which was a bonus! Room was very comfortable with a great view to the castle on the hill, all lit up at night. Excellent shower and superb bed. Quiet location, away from the main road leading to the Grotte area with all its shops and restaurants, perfect. You can be in the centre of all this in a few minutes' walk. Car parking - for 5 euros you have the use of a huge enclosed garage to the side of the hotel which is very secure. Good breakfast and hotel has a very tourist friendly ambience. Would definitely stay again. Love it!”
