the room faced the front of the hotel so we had a great view.
we were booked in to a handicap room which upset us , so they said we would have to wait to see if there was a cancellation later in the day. There was so we then got a standard room. We could not sign up for breakfast/dinner each day, cause it was booked. they said we should have signed up at the time we booked The toilet seat would not stay up, which I reported first day, but it was never fixed. the elevators were very slow, not enough room each time for all to enter.

because my knees were a problem, i found its proximity to the sanctuary very convenient.
the claustrophobic toilet (enclosed fr the bath) and the dark room (you cannot open the curtains because you will be seen from the outside). the walls should be painted a light color and the carpet should be changed to wood (even simulated only)

Its proximity to the Shrine and the helpfulness of the hotel staff.
The dustbins were emptied at 6 00am and, being in the heart of the town the noise meant that it was impossible to sleep through it.

“I have stayed at this hotel for many years and it has always been a wonderful friendly experience.”

“Some staff extremely helpful. Some no so much. The restaurant managers was hard to talk to about anything. Soo close to anything we wanted however with the time of year most places were shut. This meant we have 2/3 options to eat from. No shops local that were open thy just sell basic foods. Around 40 minute walk to McDonald’s which is a nice walk when the weather is nice. Good value for money. Could put milk and normal tea in the rooms.”
