Falsely Presented/Do Not Stay!Pros: The paint job on the street side of this barn did a great job of hiding what lay beyond.Cons: The false advertising---this is a 1 star at best! Told we had reserved a two bedroom apartment but it was a old worn out, dank, STINKY room with two old beds. The air conditioner did not work. The 'shower' barely ran. Rust or 'something' came out of the pipe. We had no 'ocean view' and there was dirt on the floor and cobwebs on the ceiling. We could not communicate even one word with the people. We canceled our room and left (they charged us for the ENTIRE stay of 7 days!) up (N.) the street and found a "Hotelito" that was an awesome little place. Everything worked, clean pool, on the beach, clean rooms, air conditioning, young lady spoke excellent English and they understood our broken Spanish. So DO NOT stay at this Hotel Santa Cecelia-DON'T! They have falsely advertised their place.
Don't stay here!Pros: The paint job on the street side.Cons: Everything else! Honest, this place is horrible. In total doubt, we nevertheless asked to be shown a room. The air conditioning units DO NOT work (and it's hot/humid here in the dead of winter mind you), the rooms smelled 'rank' (actually no descriptive word comes to mind that reaches out and says the sh__ word) and everything is broken and in need of Superman! We left and walked up to the Holtelito which is totally cool. But we could NOT even stay one night here. I'll fight with Kayak later about returning my money as this place is falsely advertised!!!
