About

Structure opened in 2013. Located in Pisa, among the most important monuments of the city is one the famous cathedral square, called Piazza dei Miracoli, declared a world heritage site, with the Cathedral built in white and coloured marbles, between 1063 and 1118, Pisan Romanesque, with the bronze portal of san Ranieri by Bonanno Pisano and Giovanni Pisano's pulpit. In the square stands the characteristic leaning tower, 12th century Bell Tower, 56 m high, which acquired its characteristic inclination ten years after the beginning of its construction, one of Italy's best-known monuments in the world. Pisa is to note the presence of at least three inclined towers: one, the best known, in Piazza del Duomo; the second is the Bell Tower of St. Nicholas Church, located in via Santa Maria, near the Lungarno Pacinotti; the third, situated about halfway of the viale delle Piagge (River, on the East side of town) is the Bell Tower of the Church of San Michele degli Scalzi (in this case the Church has a significant slope). Pisa hosts the most important airport of the region, the ' Galileo Galilei ' [6] that has national and intercontinental connections.Among the most important monuments of the city is one the famous cathedral square, called Piazza dei Miracoli, declared a world heritage site, with the Cathedral built in white and coloured marbles, between 1063 and 1118, Pisan Romanesque, with the bronze portal of san Ranieri by Bonanno Pisano and Giovanni Pisano's pulpit.
