Pros:I generally don't complain, or write reviews but I read a lot of them and thought maybe these people were just picky but after getting here some reviews were exaggerated and some were dead on. So here is my review from someone who isn't generally picky......I liked that we got a free upgrade to a king size room because they screwed up. I liked that it wasn't too close to town and all the traffic.
Cons:The hot tub was dirty (sand liked up in the corners) and not very warm. And when you turned the jets on there was a super loud high pitched squeal. After specifically asking if we'd have to switch rooms because we made reservations for each night separately, they told us "No" then they were going to make us switch, this is how we got a free upgrade. The back entrances were dirty because of the oilfield/pipeline workers staying there. They tracked mud up and down the halls and stairs. The receptionists spent most of their shift outside smoking. The breakfast wasn't very good frozen and reheated foods, fruit was old, the regular coffee was gone by 6:30. No towels left in the pool room. The bed skirt in the first room had "something" died on it (yuck). The beds in the first room were small. The floors of the second floor, NO matter how softly we walked, creek loudly, I was afraid with every movement we were keeping the people below us awake. The second morning when we woke up to get ready there was a loud....sounded like an air compressor or generator vibrating the floor and a loud general hum....not sure what that was. The place needs a lot of work just easy fixes and a good deep cleaning.
