Cons: The hotel is under renovation. Expect to wake up at 7 am to construction noise. Also on Saturdays, even though they tell you it's Monday - Friday. Generally poor sound proofing hallway / room, even without the construction. Air condition unit was noisy as well.

Pros: Great location. It is about 10 seconds walk to the beach. A bit more if you have to wait for the traffic lights. To Olinda with an Uber about 30-40 minutes and I can recommend Olinda. To old town is 20-30 minutes by Uber. About an hour to Porto de Galinghas by Uber. Staff at reception is friendly and speak English well. There is a big shopping mall at about 10 minutes walk including a large food court. There is a supermarket with international ATM at 5 minutes walk. I felt safe at the area of the hotel also in the evening. Breakfast is ok. Room is very large/spacy. Lots of space. There is a nice swimming pool and terrace. There is a large fridge in the room. Menu in the restaurant is available in English. There are some nightclubs in the area of the hotel, unfortunately I did not find any pubs near the hotel.
Cons: Large hotels like this one have enough resources to really make something excellent of it. So I always have a bit more critics at such hotels especially because you often pay a premium price. -Toilet was cloaking during all my stay. Cleaning staff must have seen it. It was not fixed during my stay I had the problem every day. -Bathroom is outdated really needs renovation. Everything is old in the bathroom. -Room did not feel really clean (walls/chairs) -window is not soundproof noises from outside come in regularly same as from the hallway. -Often lines at the lift system. A/C can only be set at pre set values. Check-in procedure can take a while.

Cons: The room was poor and not as in the pictures. We found our bathroom dirty and very poorly cleaned. The sheets seemed dirty as well, windows not cleaned for years, which is quite bad if you have a nice sea view. We had the feeling that the property needs a lot of renovation and that it was not mantained well.

Privileged location on the seaside, 15 minutes from downtown and 10 minutes from the airport, close to the business center, of the biggest shopping mall of the city, main restaurants, museums and attractions for leisure. Informations, sightseeing tours, rental car at the reception desk. Buffet breakfast included in the room price served at 06:00 AM to 10:00 AM, lunch and dinner at 12:00 PM to 11:30 PM in our restaurant with seaview. Room service available at 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM. Free WIFI in the entire hotel, swimming pool, convention center and business center. Rooms with balcony, electronic door locks, bathroom, air conditioning, full length mirror, clock radio, cable TV, minibar, telephone, safe box, 110W and 220W voltages and hair dryer. When in the same room from the parents 1 child until 10 years old is free of charge. Three installments in the credit card for reservation when the sum of the room price are at least R$ 950,00. Private parking is available on and costs BRL 17 per day.

Cons: The staff, with the exception of few (Dulce and other I dont have the name), treated us with impatience, bad faces, lack of amability, sheer coldness. Sheets were not full cotton, they were cheap and not comfortable; we had to ask for another bath towel , since they gave us only one (for 2 people); towels arrives, but were damaged (ragged); no coffee or tea in the room; no iron, no iron board; no reading lamp by beds sides!!!

Cons: The hotel doesn’t deserve 4 stars. When I checked in l, nobody showed me to the room, receptionists and stuff are more focused on themselves than on guests. One may have the impression that one is intruding. The whole atmosphere of this gigantic, badly decorated and sad hotel is depressing. Not the quality and vibe one may expect from Radisson brand. There is huge room to improvement. In the morning various maids come to the room to offer various services. Who does that? Absolutely overpriced.

Cons: Renovations. As with anything a hotel also needs maintenance. Which is fine. Work would be carried out between 8 am to 6 pm according to a letter under the door. At 22:30 the work is still continuing next to occupied rooms. Multiple calls to reception to ask the work to continue tomorrow do not help. Work, talking and phone calls simply continues and solid night rest of guests is of secondary importance. Room has issues too. With wind the door and windows rattle loudly. Water also comes in through the window frame with rain storms.

Pros: The situation is good, near to the beach in a calm side road. The bar and restaurant area is pleasant with lots of trees and places to sit. The food in the restaurant is good quality and not too expensive, the bar and restaurant staff are helpful and professional. Good breakfast with lots of choices.
Cons: Mix up at check in : we had paid extra for a balcony and were offered two other rooms without a balcony before the problem was solved (and only after complaining a bit). We were unable to use the WiFi on our last day after checkout as it was automatically cut off which made contacting taxis and friends very difficult. Lots of staff at reception but we waited a long time for certain things to be sorted. Our room had a leaky roof and mould on the ceiling.

Cons: The building itself is old, furniture and bathroom fittings look outdated and/or stained. Parking is not included in the price.

Pros: The staff was trying to be helpful, but their lack of English skills makes it very difficult to converse. One young lady at the desk was proficient in English and was particularly helpful and knowledgeable.
The restaurant is quite good. Every meal I had there was tasty and the daily breakfast was hard to beat.
The view of the ocean over the palm trees is quite nice.
Cons: No apparent ability to call taxis. The morning rush to the football match was a mess, they were completely unprepared.
The rooms are old and dated, but comfortable enough. Without air conditioning, they would have been unbearable. The air conditioner window cut-out leaked due to the driving rains.
Little bugs in the room on the desk, probably mites. Hopefully they are still in Recife and not in my home!
This is a no frills place a bit further southeast than the nicer areas with perhaps more action in Recife.

Pros: The hostel is very nice, although I got a more expensive private room for US$30, one person, breakfast, March). The room was quite large with bathroom, 3 beds, air conditioning, good wifi, and a small balcony. Everything is very clean. Inside the wall there is nice seating and a small swimming pool. I was given one of 2 secure parking spaces, but street parking is no problem. Breakfast is basic but most hostels don't include it at all so I have no complaints. The hostel is located in Boa Viagem, about 12 km south of central Recife.

They make you feel welcomed, and even though they do not speak English, they are willing to help you in any way they can! ★COMFORTABLE! This hostel was one of the most comfortable hostels I stayed at throughout my vacation in Brazil. It has a CLEAN swimming pool, outdoor seating areas to work on your laptop or have breakfast, and a living room area where you can watch soccer or a movie. ★HOT SHOWERS! The men's showers have good water pressure and hot showers! ★FREE PURIFIED DRINKING WATER! This hostel is the only hostel in Brazil that I stayed that provided free, purified drinking water through a dispensary water jug. ★SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD! This area is safe, and you can walk 8 minutes to some bars and very good restaurants from seafood to pizza. Also Ubers are readily available within minutes in the area! ★FREE BREAKFAST! Good balanced breakfast is provided each morning. The lady who prepares it is awesome and kind!

My feet were actually in my neighbor's bed. The pillows are too thin for comfort and the sheets to cover yourself when the AC is strong is small/short.

Pros: The entryway has a lovely patio garden… Truly a haven in the middle of the city. It’s noisy because there’s traffic going by, but you are absolutely surrounded by beautiful plants. The owner must be a master gardener. I stayed in many hotels in Brazil over the past three months, and what impressed me about this breakfast was the beautiful layout of fruit. It takes time to prepare a fruit plate that way, but it was beautiful. In the shower was fabulous. It probably wasn’t very ecologically sound, but I loved the generous flow of water.
Cons: Since you’re asking, I will come up with the only thing I can complain about in this hotel, and that was the small area rug in my room was not vaccummef. The rest of the roomWas perfectly clean.

Cons: The hotel doesn’t deserve 4 stars. When I checked in l, nobody showed me to the room, receptionists and stuff are more focused on themselves than on guests. One may have the impression that one is intruding. The whole atmosphere of this gigantic, badly decorated and sad hotel is depressing. Not the quality and vibe one may expect from Radisson brand. There is huge room to improvement. In the morning various maids come to the room to offer various services. Who does that? Absolutely overpriced.

Pros: Hotel had everything you can wish as a tourist. Beach was just across the street. Breakfast was very good. Safe location, even at night time. Great ocean view from the 19th floor.
Cons: At times it was very noisy, door slamming, sometimes even at sleeping hours.

Cons: I used to like it better in my prior visits... I think it used to be a five star hotel in the past, but now the building is pretty old.. staff doesn’t make much effort to help the guests. Called to ask for one more towel which never came, asked to do one simple substitution in my meal order and it was not allowed... in addition to that it’s not the first time that I noticed that the hot water is turned off during the day and turned on at night.

Pros: Good location. Great room facing the sea/beach with a panoramic view from 9th floor. (We reserved the room facing the sea. A little more expensive but great experience !). Friendly staff.
Cons: One of the two elevators got stuck and us inside. This was around 10pm. Somebody from the hotel did free us quickly. But the hotel should check out this elevator !
