The front desk and bar staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Please provide bar soap instead of just body wash.

Location was the best thing about this hotel. Close walking distance to everywhere but also being at bus stop 12 is a perk. May sound silly but when it’s minus 6 and you’re standing at a bus stop for 30-40mins waiting on your tour bus each morning, you really appreciate that this hotel is so close you can just stand inside it and wait until you see your bus arrive. Another great part was the beer garden and separate restaurant, during my stay we were delayed for 4 days due to weather including 1 day when we were not permitted to leave the hotel as per Iceland’s government recommendation, so having a nice area to relax in, eat & drink with live music was a great way to spend an otherwise boring day. In reference to the delay, when I realised my flight was delayed I contacted the hotel reception to ask to extend my stay and they couldn’t be more helpful, offering me a discounted rate due to the delay and also allowing me to stay in the same room therefore cutting down the hassle of needing to pack, check out& re-check in to a different room.

Nothing I was very please with everything.

Hotel was near bus stop 12 which picks up people for all tours. Has great restaurant with good eats.
