The location was superb. 2 stops away from the busy Shinjuku station
The smell at the breakfast area. But I think that is unavoidable because at night, it’s a pub.
the breakfast was nice. from 7:00-9:00 the hotel was clean and there was a metro stop near the hotel
1. The staff were terrible. Really. Never in my life did I see staff so helpless. They could not care less - they have no motivation to work, and whenever I asked for a Manager - they said he wont be at the hotel for the next days, or they said they were the managers - even though they surely were not. They hardly understood or spoke English. They were simply not willing to help - and it is the worst feeling you can get at a hotel you are staying at for a couple of days. 2. The pillow was like a piece of cardboard, So I asked for extra pillows - they told me they have no pillows and I should use my towel. 3. I asked them to reserve a taxi for us for the next morning, they said they only work with 1 company and they are fully booked - so they cant help us. 4. The room was extremely small - and when we checked the option to change to a twin room - they asked for a price which was very different from the price in the internet. they asked us to double what we paid for the room. not proportional at all. 5. the neighborhood is not central. Not attractive. so.... I would certainly not recommend this hotel. and its a shame that the worst part were the staff. First time in my life I feel so not welcome at a hotel.
Location is good
Room was not so clean. The window hat some fingermarks as well as the tv. We found some hair in bed :/.
The bed were super comfy, the pillows needed some more support for me but I have a thicker pillow at home, so it is all preference. My fiancé and myself love that there is a Onsen that we have access to, especially after a long day of sightseeing, we needed to soak our bodies.
Our room is on one end of the building away from the elevators and the WiFi connection was a bit spotty. I felt like we didn’t get the best WiFi connection we could’ve had if we were closer to the center of the building.
Nothing. This place is the only corrupt experience I had in Japan.
Had to cancel since they only have smoking rooms (not mentioned on reservation), and they wouldn’t refund. Had to go through my credit card to dispute. After they appealed (without evidence), when asked for evidence they didn’t have to support their “claim”, money was refunded.
