It's in the old city , very near the White palace and Jagdish temple. Hathi Pol, the favourite shopping area is within walking distance. The staff is helpful and courteous. The view of the lake pichola from the terrace is beautiful.
The room smelled of mildew and mold. The washbasin had signs of spitting by anyone and everyone who stayed there.

Beautifully decorated room, nice illuminating, good location.
Quite expensive for what it offers. Our room was on the ground floor with a window looking on an intrial "yard" . Noises expand all over the place cause of the arcitectural design of the building. As regards to the staff, it didn't thrill us.

Breakfast
One of the staff is only interested in making extra money and insisted on paying by Cash. Even though good rooms are available they are giving those rooms to Foreigners and give least importance to Indians. They try to charge for each and everything. Night staff is Horrible.

the style of the hotel is nice. we loved the rooftop it has a breath taking view and the rooftop restaurant served us the best foods we had in all of india! we spent all our free time on that rooftop. staff are very helpful and kind. they speak english. location of hotel is indeed in a tiny street not accessible by car but all of that part of udaipur old city is barely accessible by car so it wasnt a problem also because this hotel is in very close walking distance to literally everything. jagdish temple 2 mn walk. city palace 3 mn walk. old souk right after you exit the hotel street. the hotel also has a spa. highly recommend
no fridge in rooms and there are specific timings for hot water. 8 to 10 am and 8 to 10 pm i think.

“Great location of hotel. Walking distance to the North Gate of the City Palace and plenty of transport passing by if wanting to go further. Ate and had drinks in the restaurant on the roof food was very good and roof top has beautiful views over the lake and are amazing at sunset. A dip in the pool is a must also. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, booking early morning transport to the train station for us.”
