Easy access to the world: Visa-free entry

South Korea has one of the world’s best airport hubs for international travel. Incheon International Airport has direct connections to destinations across Europe, America and the Asia-Pacific.
Break up your long-haul with a few nights in South Korea. Soak up the country’s culinary, artistic and natural spoils, before enjoying direct flights to London, Paris, Milan, Los Angeles, New York, Toronto and many other cities around the globe.
A stopover in South Korea is made even easier with visa-free entry. All Australian passport holders can enter the country without a visa if they’re staying for 90 days or fewer.
There’s no need to fill out tedious paperwork. 22 countries including Australian passport holders are temporarily exempt from applying for K-ETA prior to departure to Korea until 31 December 2024.
K-ETA is due to return in 2025, so make sure you check out the details before you’re headed to Korea in 2025.

Airlines

Right now, travellers from Australia can fly direct from Sydney to Seoul’s Incheon International Airport in about 10.5 hours with Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Qantas, Jetstar and T’way Air. You can also fly direct from Brisbane to Seoul, South Korea with Korean Air. Many of the airlines offer easy and direct connections further abroad as well, making your stopover in South Korea a seamless and enriching experience.

How to book through KAYAK

Using Kayak’s intuitive online booking platform, you can easily plan a multi-night stopover in South Korea. When looking at flights from your origin to your destination, simply click on the Stopover Airports dropdown in the left-hand menu. Here you can select Incheon (ICN) as your stopover airport.
