Broome is serviced by twice daily direct flights from Perth year round, a three times weekly nonstop flight between Darwin and Broome, as well as seasonal direct flights from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Regular flights are available from Perth to Kununurra.

When to visit Ningaloo Reef

Broome

The best time to visit Broome is during the dry season from April/May until September/October. The weather in Broome will be perfect: warm days, balmy nights, clear blue skies all day every day.

Kununurra 

The dry season runs from April to October and is the best (and busiest) time to visit. The temperature is pleasantly warm, there is little chance of rain and all of the roads should be open.

Exmouth

Ningaloo Reef has something to offer all year round, but the best weather months are mid March, May, June, September and October. In these months the water is warm, weather patterns are consistent and it’s not too busy.
