Climb, shimmy, slide and squeeze through tight spaces to reach the SkyView – an open-air viewing platform 72 metres above the Swan River offering up panoramic views of the city. For those wanting to up the ante, why not make the ultimate decent with a zip line 400 metres across the Swan River, travelling at up to 75km/h.

Next stop Mandoon Estate, this iconic family run estate, focuses on producing a boutique range of premium wines. Margaret River Chocolate Company – Swan Valley
For those with a sweet tooth this one’s for you! The Margaret River Chocolate Company’s Swan Valley factory and tasting centre offers free tasting, as well as viewing windows to see all of the chocolatiers in action, making hundreds of delicious chocolate products. Before heading back to Perth be sure to enjoy a famous hot chocolate at The Chocolate Cafe overlooking the gardens and vines.

Saying farewell to the city, driving 90-minutes south to The Dolphin Discovery Centre in Bunbury.
This Interpretive Centre showcases an expanded range of themed fish and coral aquariums, and an amazing 360-degree Digital Dolphinarium, as well as interpretation of the Koombana Bay environment and its history – geological, indigenous, marine and contemporary.
Fancy staying a little longer? The 90 minute eco-cruise on Koombana Bay, is an excellent viewing opportunity to watch dolphins as they interact in their natural environment, or take to the open waters and swim with the wild dolphins, an exhilarating experience you won’t forget.

Continuing 50 minutes south, next stop is the Busselton Jetty and Underwater Observatory. Extending almost 2km in length, the heritage listed Busselton Jetty is the longest timber jetty (pier) in the Southern Hemisphere.
Take a relaxing electric train ride along the length of the jetty, enjoying 360-degree views over the protected waters of Geographe Bay. At the jetty’s end, visit the Underwater Observatory to descend beneath the ocean’s surface and view the awe inspiring “forest” of vividly-coloured tropical and sub-tropical marine life of Australia’s greatest artificial reefs.
