Very unprofessional staff in the checking and boarding. There was no space for my carry-on bag, which is understandable for a full flight. However, the rudeness in answering my questions about my bag were unnecessary. Shaming and threatening a passenger to be left behind was something I had never experienced (I am 57 years old and a Skymiles member) before. At a minimum, the boarding staff (Krystal Mejia and her manager Dee) should undergo further training on cultural sensitivity and professional skills on speaking with passengers. Krystal, just because I have dark hair and “look Latina” does not mean I can speak Spanish. Your assumption and threatening words until the very ending of my boarding (door of the airplane) were not only unnecessary and stressful but something that a passenger should not experience before boarding.
As usual, LATAM tried to rip me off as a Gringo. They ignored the fact that having paid for my assigned seats, I was entitled to one free luggage per person, up to 10kg, and tried to charge me USD40 per item. While they ripped me off by $160 on my outbound flight (4 luggage pieces, which should have been free), I vehemently protested this time around. Note that they only request this from gringos, not from Spanish speakers. LATAM behaves like a racist extortion organization.
Unfortunately this is not a happy ending comment. Positive: flown United before no issue Negative: it only takes one bad experience to not plan future travel with United Cancún departure was delayed by 1h20 minutes, connection in Chicago was 1h30 minutes. Flight departure time 6:08 Miraculously 7 of us ran 4 kilometres through Chicago to arrive at 6:00 to be told very rudely by the 2 unprofessional United attendants you missed your flight and that we should of arrived early. Did I mention that reason I was flying? I received a call that my brother was dying and to get home. They provided no assistance would not answer any of our questions, ignorantly walked away. Deplorable
The plane boarded and deplaned twice before the crew timed out. Flight was 7 hours late departing. Horrible experience!
Boarding was friendly and quick. While the plane model was older with no live tv, the entertainment was full of movies and tv shows. All food was available. Pilots were very communicative with status of the flight. Flight landed on time.
First, the bathroom was horrible. 2 bathroom stalls at a gate and no soap to wash our hands. We were sitting at the gate for an hour before they decided to check our particulars. The line was long. Boarding was chaotic. Once we boarded, we were put on the bus in the rainy and forced to stand like sandwiches in the bus. All this occurred on Christmas Day.
No comfort, local flights chair in use on international flight, food wasn’t nice.
Due to a cancelled flight the day before this flight only had 44 people. Best flight ever on international route. Food getting better. Can United provide fruit ex apples and bananas for snacks? Crew fantastic.
Food on this flight was horrendous, and I've had a lot of plane food, I know it's not fine dining but everything tasted terrible. The staff were friendly and helpful, boarding was OK and flight was on time.
I had requested wheelchair assistance prior to flight. The airport staff had no record of it. It was not provided at Cedar Rapids which was a small airport, so I managed on my own. At O'Hare airport the same thing happened. The staff told me they had no record of my request for a wheel chair. But they finally provided it after a delay when I insisted that I needed it.
The Flight was good, pilot seemed very skillful. My wheel chair sister who could barely walk was allotted the second last seat in the aircraft, with great difficulty she managed to reach on her seat, as she required attendance we were given separate seat, even on request no one cared, so much so there were single passengers who were given twin seats. May not be taken as complaint but a reminder to the checkin staff to keep in mind in future the allottment of wheel chair passengers seats.
Almost 2 hour delay in boarding with all standing ready to board at original time. No explanation given.
American Airlines canceled the flight twice and was unable to facilitate a change of city for us after our travel plans became affected. We lost alot of money due to this and it seems like the airline was trying their best not to facilitate this. Mind you, I am a very loyal member.
Flight from PHL to PHX arrived 50 minutes early and a gate was available. First class flight attendant Stephanie was very friendly and polite. Sanitizing wipes should be provided with meals in addition to refresher towels.
Boarding was efficient. On board drink was slow. Temperature was a bit warm in the beginning.
A nearly half-hour delay to board/depart meant that our connection in DFW was less than 30 minutes. If the flight attendants would have made an announcement to the flight to allow those with close connections to de-plane first it would have helped, but nothing. We *barely* made our connection, with no time to eat or user the restroom between flights.
Paid for a first class lay flat seat that was broken, 7 hours of sitting straight up!

Had the best flight in a long time. The captain was amazing, friendly, kept us informed of any weather or sites to see. Took good care of the flight attendants and made us feel safe and confident. Smooth lovely flight.
Our seats were better than i had anticipated. They provided nice pillows and blankets as well as a kit with ear plugs, sleep mask and headphones which made the long haul flight better. Their food selection and service was good. I appreciated that they came through the cabin with water a few times. We were ahead of schedule which was nice!
LAX to London was great. Spacious, nice crew, food was only okay. But you have to pay for WiFi on a 10 hour flight?! No thank you. Overall pretty good but room for improvement. And then on the flight to Nice the crew and boarding and flight was all good, except I fly frequently and those might have been the most uncomfortable seats I have ever sat in! Even reclined they were vertical and it was very uncomfortable. No one likes flying with their ears over their knees. It was so bad I am going to steer people away from this airline. I recommend figuring your seats out before everyone heads elsewhere.
Flight was delayed by one hour, then another 1/2 hour then cancelled and changed till the next day. We were not allowed to get our luggage & put up in a dirty hotel. I had cockroaches in the bathroom. When I finally arrived home…i noticed the airline had damaged the zipper on my suitcase.
