People mover

there was no car available for rent when we went to pick up the car, and not likely that our selected vehicle (large suv) would be returned. after an hour and a half, we took an uber to our destination and rented from another company.

Pros:

The young gentlemen at the front desk counter was very unprofessional and rude. He canceled my reservation and told me that he doesn’t need my business.

Cons:

I honestly think that there is no help for this location. Unless they hire new people who are professional and friendly towards the customers.

The car I wanted was not available although I booked it 2 months in advance. I had to downsize my vehicle and they charged me more money. Not fair at all. I will never rent from a neighborhood rental place again. Especially not an AVIS/BUDGET.

When I picked up the car, for the first time, I was told that the car had a scratch on it, but that I shouldn't worry because they already know about it. I dropped it off naively thinking everything was OK, but I shortly received a notice in e-mail of a damage claim of a scratch and a dent. I called customer service and found it hard to get a receipt. The representative finally did mention that it may take months to get the bill for the claim. I find it strange that they would rent cars they know are damaged, because it certainly does muddy the waters in case of further damage claims like this.

We have been given a car (Buick Encore) of a lower category than the one booked and paid for. (Mid Suv ex Mazda Cx 5). There was no GPS booked and paid (then discounted from the final price). The explanations at the time of pick up and drop off are too hasty. Bad experience.

I liked that they made it very easy to pick up the vehicle. The cost was great for the vehicle. HOWEVER.......It was DIRTY inside AND outside. The back passenger seat belt was broken behind the front passenger seat. And the hours of operation are horrible to be so close to the airport.

They did not have cars available and wanted to put me in a smaller vehicle than what I paid for then ended up charging me $40 a day for a vehicle that would 5 people. They also included more taxes than what was stated in the agreement. They charged me 2xs at drop off and would not refund me for the 2 charges for $233

The vehicle was very nice plus a low price. Workers at hertz were very hospitable. Only thing could've been better was one tire was low on air and didn't have a cap.
