Pros:
They treated me very bad they made me wait for 2 hours they were late then changed the book car then wanted to charge me 360 dollars not the amount that was on your application. It was bad I had a child with me and travel bags and the employee refused to use any other type of payment except my credit card which didn’t have that much money I want a compensation for my lost time lost money my agony long wait and missed work day. Unprofessional unacceptable.Cons:
Hated all aspects and how they treated me really bad and made me wait two hours although I booked a day before didn’t pick us up and still told us to go get coffee while we wait. It was 45 min and extended to two hours then it was a different car and extraaaaaaaa money not the amount on ur app or even close. 360 dollars for whaaaaat???5.2 Fair

I made my reservation for MDW, airport location, and was told I made for off site location on Pulaski? Why would I do that if I’m flying into Midway!? I’m not walking or ubering to an unknown location to me.2.0 Poor

I made a reservation only to find out that that does not matter. When I arrived, I was informed that they did not have any cars available and I was 8th in line to receive one. I asked why I was not contacted ahead of time. The manager was clueless and just shrugged. I waited for several hours and wasted money on ubers getting there and back. Never received a car or made it to my destination.5.6 Fair

The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the manager. I asked for a discount because of the tardiness of when my car was available, and he gave it to me without any issue. I had no issue with the local staff and service. It was the company's service that was poor.Cons:
My car was delivered to me 1.5 hours after my confirmed pick up time because, per the staff, the company had overbooked the location. Very poor and unacceptable planning. I waited outside in standing in the sun for 1.5 hours.2 locations in New City

The pick up was close by but I didnt realize it would not be at the airport. The sign is super small and if your not looking for it you would miss the pick up spot. Our group waited over 30 minutes before they finally picked us up.6.8 Okay

Cons:
The car’s front end rattled the whole time. Alignment was off pulling to the right. Drivers door made a rattle like a can of beans the whole time we drove over 60mph. The car was dirty when we received it and had over 10 chips in the windshield. Worst rental I’ve ever had.2.4 Poor

One lady was super helpful and nice, the rest of the staff I interacted with seemed like they hated everything. The second van I received was in excellent condition on the inside, though dented on the outside.Cons:
Ended up being about 25% more than the quoted reservation cost with no explanation given. Inconvenient pickup/drop off location, at least for transit/walking. Took a very long time to pickup and drop off despite being the only customer there. First van they were going to give me was FULL of trash in the back. Second one was fine. Otherwise rude staff. put a huge hold on your card, mileage limit for IL residents - they do tell you this upfront when you’re there but it’s a bit sneaky if you’re reserving through a third party site like this. Some other stuff I can’t even think of right now cuz I’m trying to push the whole ordeal out of my head. It was pretty darn cheap though.2.0 Poor

We thought we were getting a great deal on a car rental for two weeks. When we arrived at the business to pick up our car, we were charged over $120 more than our initial payment. The reason was (at first) that they had to come and pick us up from the airport. When we pressed into why, the next reason they gave us was because we should have reserved the car through a third party like Expedia. Which we did-through Kayak. The NEXT reason they gave us for charging us so much more was that we came through the airport. Which made zero sense because that's where I filled all the information out at the time of making the reservation. We then asked to see the manager and someone else came out to talk to us. When we asked the woman if she was the manager she said, "well, kind of, but not really, I just help the manager." We then asked again to see the manager. She went back to get him and came back to us and said the manager refused to see us and would not come out front. We then cancelled our reservation. As we were trying to find an Uber to get to another car rental location, another customer was going through the same run around and was being charged over $100 than what all her paperwork said. We call this unethical and bad business and will never recommend this company.One location in New City

Proprietor in downtown Chicago was pleasant, and he had the car for us at the promised time (despite small current inventory). Drop-off at BWI worked perfectly, even though we dropped the car off at 2:30 am and there were no personnel on the scene. We simply drove the car onto the lot, left the keys, and were billed appropriately.10.0 Wonderful

The rental location's staff was rude and overcharged for insurance I already purchased without telling me. They also held $200 on my card which was not disclosed on this website. Their hours was 8am to 4pm and they where closed Monday (for labor day), didn't have a dropbox and excepted me to return the car the next day when I wouldn't be avialable (and I heard them give another person to option to return the car somewhere else without asking). I ended up returning the car to the airport location 5mins away after call Hertz directly. Also, the car smelled like someone had been smoking in it for days.5.6 Fair

There was only one person manning the counter at pickup even though there were other employees there and a line of 6 people. Dropoff wasn't very clear as he didn't explain how the final part of the fee would get charged, but it was quick. Really liked the car I drove - Ford Fiesta.Cons:
