What to know about COVID-19 and car hire

New rental car policy updates include changes to age restrictions, as well as their change and cancellation policies.

Enterprise Holdings (Alamo, Enterprise, National)

Extended existing no-fee cancellation policy to include customers with pre-paid rentals booked. Enterprise is also offering special offers for essential healthcare workers.

Europcar

Existing reservations can be changed or canceled free of charge up to 48 hours before pick-up.

Hertz

Customers with a pre-paid car hire booked prior to 13 March can cancel their reservation for no fee and transfer their balance for use toward a future booking to be used within 24 months. Customers who have made a reservation that is affected by Government travel restrictions can also cancel the reservation at any time or rebook later, free of charge.

For existing bookings, Hertz allows you to pay for your car hire at the time of pick-up with no cancellation fees.

Sixt

Extended rebooking options and cancellation policies to give you greater flexibility to adapt your travel plans. You can rebook your prepaid reservation without any additional charges.

For exisiting bookings, you can modify or cancel your reservation at any time without any fees.
