Car was great and both agents at pick up and drop off were friendly. Location was difficult to find as the GPS street location was not specific. Finding a gas station prior to drop off was also very challenging as GPS took us to 2 locations where a gas station did not exist! Overall it was a good experience

As a 1st time user with Ace left me disappointed 😞 from time of making the booking through to picking up vehicle which had the window screen replaced the day of pickup with tape on the window to be told "keep it there for an hour then you can pull it off" most disconcerting to having to drive away and lucky no rain to have to use the windscreen wipers!!! Also asked for some compensation but didn't get any

Pros:

Car was reliable and handled well.

Cons:

Luggage capacity was not as described for the class. Had to drive with rear seats folded down, making it obvious we had luggage. Meant that it wasn't possible to sight see to and from the airport.

Pros:

Trunk (boot) was too small with what we reserved. Would have been nice to know ahead of time, but it was a really easy change. Super nice employee helped us get into something bigger. Made it a very easy change.

Cons:

Car size description was off. Car is smaller than we hoped it would be. Seemed expensive, but demand was high.

Hidden costs and no mention anywhere in t&c about excess being $5900 which meant we had to buy insurance with dollar (ours only covered $5k excess). Ended up costing more than 2x “total”.
