As a 1st time user with Ace left me disappointed 😞 from time of making the booking through to picking up vehicle which had the window screen replaced the day of pickup with tape on the window to be told "keep it there for an hour then you can pull it off" most disconcerting to having to drive away and lucky no rain to have to use the windscreen wipers!!! Also asked for some compensation but didn't get any

Pros:

Car was reliable and handled well.

Cons:

Luggage capacity was not as described for the class. Had to drive with rear seats folded down, making it obvious we had luggage. Meant that it wasn't possible to sight see to and from the airport.

Pros:

Trunk (boot) was too small with what we reserved. Would have been nice to know ahead of time, but it was a really easy change. Super nice employee helped us get into something bigger. Made it a very easy change.

Cons:

Car size description was off. Car is smaller than we hoped it would be. Seemed expensive, but demand was high.

Unimpressive Broken usb connection in car so I couldn’t charge phone Average customer service No warning about bond hold of $1200 or $600 until I arrived to collect car, and the extra fee applied Not cheap, incredibly over priced Inflexible Rude lady waving and demanding when I returned vehicle Would not deal with the company again, terrible experience

Bond (pre-authorised) & Liability Limit very very high about Nz3k and they charged me Wellington to Auckland Relocation Fee about Nz 240.00 that car rental didn't.
