As a 1st time user with Ace left me disappointed 😞 from time of making the booking through to picking up vehicle which had the window screen replaced the day of pickup with tape on the window to be told "keep it there for an hour then you can pull it off" most disconcerting to having to drive away and lucky no rain to have to use the windscreen wipers!!! Also asked for some compensation but didn't get any

Car was reliable and handled well.

Cons:

Luggage capacity was not as described for the class. Had to drive with rear seats folded down, making it obvious we had luggage. Meant that it wasn't possible to sight see to and from the airport.

Pros:

Trunk (boot) was too small with what we reserved. Would have been nice to know ahead of time, but it was a really easy change. Super nice employee helped us get into something bigger. Made it a very easy change.

Cons:

Car size description was off. Car is smaller than we hoped it would be. Seemed expensive, but demand was high.

Simple fast online booking process. Although there was a misunderstanding on my behalf I received friendly informative service on pickup. Extremely happy with the rental vehicle certainly served its purpose and happy to use EZI again and highly recommend EZI.

The company seems to advertise as being in Picton. I booked for a car hire and Picton and when I received my email booking it was for Blenheim. Apparently this has happened to others before. Ensure you double check!!

I had a good experience with Routes this time. It took 10 minutes to be picked up at the rental center even though it was 1 in the morning. The car was great and when I brought the car back they dropped me at the terminal.

Car was very comfortable, clean , more than enough power, pick up was sooo easy, drop off a little disappointing as there were no persons on the counter and we really wanted to know about the deposit return. In the end we had to drop the key and run for our boarding, but was sorted very easy next day by phone call.
