Pros:
AVIS Montevideo was exceptional. The checkout was fast, courteous, and professional. There was some confusion regarding the location, which wasn't at the port as listed but at another location in Montevideo. They quickly reimbursed my cab from the port to the new location. Secondly, we had an issue with the rental car in Punta del Este and the AVIS location there also had a great customer service. We had a new car and were back on the road within minutes. Overall a great experience.Thrifty

There was something wrong between Kayak and Thrifty and when we got there to get our car they did not have any car matching the description and they charged us more to get a better car. And the insurance that we got from your website together with the car rental was NOT accepted!!! Worst experience car rental ever9.6 Wonderful

They didn't have the van I reserved and I had to get 2 cars and we had to ride with the luggage inside the cars because it did t fit. It was horrible. The cars where super dirty also.3.6 Poor

Cons:
Arriving at the rental place, they had not received the booking from Kayak. It took a very long time, but the car company did set us up with a car. Not one that we had booked, but a lesser model and still charged us the quoted price. This car was not the greatest for what we needed it for but we made it work. Not sure if I'll book through Kayak again.2.0 Poor
