Pick up/Drop off location was close to my home.Cons:
Notification process. Only after I arrived at the site was I informed there was no vehicle for me. I was told they didn;t have a telephone number at which to reach me. However I provided both an email and number with my online reservation.2.0 Poor

The guy who checked me back in was at least friendly.Cons:
The woman who "helped" me at pick-up was rude and condescending. I couldn't get away from her fast enough. Yet she forced me to wait almost an hour for my reserved car, which meant that I was now leaving town in the middle of rush hour traffic in the rain. (Took me 2 hours to go 20 miles, I'm not kidding) The car I was given has to be the worst vehicle I've ever had to drive. Horribly uncomfortable seats, no cruise control and I was concerned about the brakes more than once. I will never ever accept a Hyundai Accent from any rental company, and I will not return to this branch of Enterprise based on that wretched woman at the counter.10.0 Wonderful

Pros:
I did not notice that your rate had me picking up the car at an address other than the airport, especially since I had put in that I wanted to get it at the airport. So when the airport informed me of this and stated they did not have any available cars left I had to hire a Taxi for $72 to take me to the Rental agency located clear across town. Then I had to pay another $80 to be able to drop it off at the airport. So your bargain ended up not such a great bargain. You should probably make this change in address a little more obvious on your website.Cons:

Pros:
Free upgrade is awesome and one thing - the car wasn't clean so they offered me free gas even though it was on half. I got a free upgrade, and didn't have to return it with gas. I have rented from them before and they are always asking to make sure I am satisfied with their rentals. I say that is exceptional service!!!!Budget

Pros:
It took a lot of planning and research to find the best dropoff and pickup locations for a decent price. During the Houston pickup, the person I worked with insisted that the reservation had me return it to the New Orleans airport. I tried to show him my reservation on my phone, but he wouldn't look at it. He instead just recited from his computer. He even went so far as to say the location I booked at (only days prior) had closed (not true) and that our drop-off location had reverted to the airport. He even called the number provided and said it was the airport location that picked up (it turns out it wasn't! -- at least not when the number was called again). When I was able to reference the location code and prove to him that it was a downtown location, he claimed it was a computer problem and that it changed on him while we were talking. Everything ended up OK in the sense that we had the correct pickup/dropoff and we had the correct car reserved, but a mistake on the part of the worker was followed up by indignation that he hadn't made a mistake, and then a cover-up lie and, finally, blame on the computer system. So it was quite an uncomfortable pick-up experience.10.0 Wonderful

Suv we reserved should have been available as I called 30 before pick up time and was told all was well. Suv was filthy, candy wrapper in drivers door pocket, crumbs in the front cup holder and worst of all- a used disposable dental floss pick and tissue in the passenger door pocket. This, while hertz proudly put not one but two COVID CLEAN stickers on the SUV. Unfortunately the dental pick up as not discovered until our trip was underway. Will never rent from them again. There was one female agent on November the 28th that was helpful. She was told by another agent by the name Mimi to place me in an old filthy, dirty 12 passenger van they had parked in what looked like the dump. I refused to be place in that filthy van and I returned to the counter someone was returning the new, clean 12 passenger van I requested previously. It was clear that the agent Mimi wanted to make sure i was given the worst there was because she called me several times to get me to cancel my one month in advance reservations for another customer and I explained i had made these family plans and could in no way cancel them two days before my family was due to arrive. I am President Circle but I never mentioned that once, this was about being with Hertz for over 14 years. They have earned my business and I theres because of their reputation before my encounter with the Hertz agent named Mimi at the South Loop Hertz location. I was nearly in tears when I saw this unfold before my very eyes. She had control to make me and my family miserable in an 1989 Chevrolet 12 passenger van. It was filthy inside and out, I could not believe my eyes. I saw the new vehicles that were being rented and returned and I was hit in the chest with this abuse of position as an agent to a 14 year customer of Hertz.Cons:
I should've been placed in the new 12 passenger vans for both rental transactions, November 23 and November 28th. This was deplorable treatment and I was deeply hurt by it.2.0 Poor

Car reeked of smoke, no other options available. Drop off location was closed on my designated drop off date. Customer service 1-800 team had me on hold for 30 minutes, hung up on me, and in the end provided no solutions. Customer service agent at Hobby airport location was very helpful. Nightmare experience, will never rent from Hertz again.8.4 Very Good
