There are a number of options for cheaper Houston holiday rentals in the East End neighbourhood of the city. It’s not a run-down area at all – in fact, it’s one of the centres of arts and culture in Houston, showcasing its strong Texan-Mexican flavour. You can book at places like East Downtown Rubiks Studio or Smart Home Living.
