Friendly staff comfortable room good breakfast
Location is great! Wonderful atmosphere, very good breakfast and an amazing view from veranda!!!
location was central to all tourist spots, ferry and bus stops were nearby. Rooms were clean and comfortable
No staff in house. Staff was not repsonsive via booking app. Felt abandones and helpless. The main door was open at all time causing security problems. We were told by other guests that there was electricity issues for over a week becasue of which the front door lock was not working. Fantastic location close to a gorgeous Maltese village with lots of lovely restaurants and bars. Our host for breakfast was fantastic and the selection great too. Lovely room, really comfortable bed, very clean and a great view of the pretty road.
We didn't have a toilet rim seat which meant the toilet freshener was exposed - we didn't like this at all. We hadn't read the most recent reviews where travellers had complained about the same issue so it felt a lazy mistake on the owner's behalf. It's not an expensive replacement to satisfy customers. Customer service doesnt exist. Before arrival they asked me if I want a car lift from the airport for 20 Euro. I accepted and told them the time of arrival. They never arrived and I had to organize the transport myself! Also when I left I asked them for the invoice - they send me an invoice with a wrong name - I asked them to rename it - they never got back to me.
Its a nice room and spacious
No lights for the main mirror and the make up mirror lights weren’t working either and made it very difficult to do mu make up! TV was useless as it only had 1 channel and on check out the maid was constantly knocking on our door to come clean the room. She said check out at 10 but on booking.com its noted till 11. She waited behind our door until we left. Very unprofessional!
We stay at the top floor with easy access to the roof, which great for the night views of the city and harbour. Small elevator direct to the room is an extra. Free laundry machine is just outside the room. Bathroom is big one that one can bath while enjoying the view of the city.
The location was in a narrow street but near to the marina and walled old city. The lady who worked there who made the breakfast and cleaned was very pleasant. The decor in the bedroom and house was lovely and beautiful artwork. Beautiful staircase. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. There was a good view from the roof terrace - sea views very partial and distant!
I arrived late at night and asked for a transfer to be arranged from the airport. This had been confirmed but was not done. I had to organise my own transport. The key code to the main door was not needed as the door was left ajar but this made the property insecure as anyone could walk in day or night. The establishment is very well located, easily accessible, and it is very easy to find parking. The street is quiet both during the day and at night. The mattress and the pillow were very comfortable for us. The breakfast was simple but had everything necessary, including toast, pancakes, cake, yogurt, eggs, fresh fruit, and some raw vegetables. The common areas are really lovely...
We had an issue with the room’s cleanliness on the day we arrived, which left us extremely annoyed, but it was resolved the same day. The furniture was worn out, making the room feel shabby for the price per night. Every morning, when we opened the bathroom door, there was a strong drain smell, but it would disappear after a few minutes.
The location was perfect. The room was comfortable, set in a lovely Maltese terraced house.
Prior to arrival we had been given a code for the door. On arrival the door was ajar and unlocked, remaining this way for our entire stay. We spoke to the owner, the electric door lock system was broken and had been like this since the previous week. We were travelling with friends, their room did not have a toilet seat.
