very expensive for a tired old hotel
It was a place to sleep. Nice bathroom.
Dark and gloomy rooms. Lots of water space and quite a sterile institutional feel.
Too Noise
Location
The cafe restaurant play Music all the time too loud. Avoid courtyard rooms.
No warning that there were extensive renovations going on - right over the room we were in. Not acceptable!! Top dollar for a construction zone - not acceptable!! Could not stay and had to find another last minute hotel. Will NEVER STAY THERE!!!
Location to event I was attending
Room was old/dated and aircon inadequate and probably needed good cleaning out
1. The various staff I dealt with were professional but still friendly and helpful - be it reception, food service or otherwise. 2. The beds - very comfortable.
No - Ive stayed on other occaisions and wether for work or pleasure it's been a consistently positive experience
The Meal we had in the dinning room was very good. However the service was a little slow. The air conditioning in the dinning room was freezing. Thankfully I had a shawl my sister did not and was quite cold.
There were no towels in our room when we arrived. I noticed when we arrived at about 5pm that someone was making up a room about 5 rooms down the hall so I asked for towels from the young man. There was an empty bottle of water on the floor that the previous people which had not been collected when the room was cleaned. On paying the bill I was told that there was a charge on the Visa Card. I think that is outrageous.
Bathrobe
Too few powerpoints. Very spartan rooms.
Dominion room was nicely furnished and very spacious.
Housekeeping needs to improve a lot.
The beds were fantastic, best nights sleep ive had in a long time. Staff were nothing but friendly and helpful, stayed in an executive king spa suite and the spa bath was beautiful, worth every penny
Staff were very helpful and the location is perfect if going to Manuka Oval, or wanting to get just oustide of the main city itself, but still only a 5 minute drive away.
They accepted my clothes for dry cleaning even past collecting hours.
Free parking
Poor quality food, ugly rooms
