Upon arrival of the Hertz location it wad closed. I stood outside the building facility for 3 hours while workers were out on lunch. At this point I missed my check- in time and priority work meeting. I will never recommend this service to anyone. When asked for a refund I was told it was not possible. I took a lyft back to the airport in attempt to get back to the airport. This was a disgrace.4.4 Mediocre

Pros:
The manager was very interested in making us happy and "upgraded" the car. However, there was very little selection. The first car we were shown was dirty and on empty. We were disappointed.Cons:
The selection in vehicles was awful. The cars had a lot of mileage and they weren't clean, were low on gas and just disappointing. We specifically choose Enterprise because our experience has always been good. However, we would not rent from here again.10.0 Wonderful

Reserved car for pick up at Charlotte airport. They had no record of my reservation. Then they said my car was at a different location about a 20 min. ride from the airport. Claimed that Kayak always does this in booking cars. Indeed my arrival time at 5:30 and I had the car reserved at 6:30 in case of delays, but Kayak had arbitrarily put my time for 5:00 (knowing that the location of the car would be open only till 6). Needless to say that there was no way for us to get to that location before closing time. I asked Enterprise whether they could look at my reservation and give me a comparable car for about the same price. They claimed they do not have access, but also failed to try to call the central reservation to see what they might be able to do to help me and my family. They were, however, very willing to rent me a 2-door sports car for six times the price of my reservation! A real customer-oriented car rental firm, indeed. I will never book cars through Kayak (I believe owned by Expedia) or Enterprise. By the way, Advantage Rent a Car was very willing to rent us a family car for about the same price as that originally booked!Avis

While on my flight I received a voicemail that they no longer had any rental cars left. Why would they confirm a booking and then sell out. Did they know prior to my booking they had none left? Or did they continue to give customers cars that had no booking? Voicemail was very short with no explanation just that "they had no vehicles". This was a busy weekend I know. It don't confirm a booking if you have nothing!9.2 Wonderful

Waited 40 min. in line at CLT then sent to offsite location for pick up. Despite multiple confirmations since my JULY RESERVATION I was told they had no cars. Eventually was given a 12 psngr van which broke down a block away(thankfully), then after many calls and more waiting, got a car. Unbelievably unpleasant.10.0 Wonderful

The Ford Focus I rented performed exceptionally well. I had 11 hours to go 700 miles to get the car back in time and without the power and performance, driving the interstate and dealing with bad drivers and road construction that took me miles out of my way, I would have not got the car back in time.
