Everything was great, only problem was that flights were delayed
You have got to come up with a better way of getting connecting flight people off the plane first. Flying doesn’t bring out the best in people but exiting off a plane rules needs to come from management, not from the expectation that passengers will be “kind” and let them off first. Perhaps exiting in zones? Like boarding? Zone 1 exits are connecting people. This frustration led to many people missing their flights or scrambling. We were delayed leaving the first leg which amplified this.
The male air hostess was rude and didn’t even offer me a drink. Poor customer service!
This was for the LOS to FRA leg of the flight Checking in and boarding was not good The staff at the gate were not helpful and targeted the customer and delayed the customers boarding unnecessarily The flight was delayed for about two hours and later for a change of boarding gate The waiting area was overcrowded with no seats available for passengers and lots were left standing for a long period of time
Nothing exceptional but all good. Business class seats are like the domestic Mint class on Jet Blue. Comfortable but not exceptional. Food is good but not superb. Flight attendants were better than US carriers but that is to be expected. However, not the caliber of Asian or Middle Eastern airlines. Very Lufthansa like but Lufthansa has slightly better seats, even though they are hardly best in class
Upgrade planes to have larger overhead bins, especially on this popular route and first class. Easy flight to Chicago, good service in first class. Can't wait for seatback entertainment to be brought back. I like the free wifi and messaging with T-Mobile. Although, the tray tables are not big enough to work even on a small laptop - so why is it called "business" class? Flight attendant said that the flight was too short to even serve water. I've flown that route several times, and that is the first time I ever heard that. No chargers in the seats. Rough landing.

Check-in was a little worrying cause we didn't get seat #'s until we asked the flight attendants at the desk. We were concerned that they overbooked the flight. But everything else was great.
Flight was not comfortable and crew was rude and not wanted to help, i would never choose united if there is alternate options . not cooperative with baby
The food has never improved. It will never improve. But when I'm boarding a flight in priority boarding and I've spent 10 hours inside the security area of the airport and I get "randomly" selected for additional screening as I board the plane when the flight has already been delayed, and I work as a military contractor that has been issued visas direct from JMOD, I find it ridiculous. I would never recommend anyone to use AA on international flights. JAL is a better airline with older planes. The flight attendants on international hauls on American also have a chip on their shoulder and really dont deliver the same level of service code share partners do.
IT NEVER LEFT! We were supposed to leave at 5:03 on March 23rd. We were delayed an hour, boarded the plane, delayed again because of rocket launches in Miami, then we were informed that our pilots "timed out" and the flight was cancelled. We were de-boarded and had to find emergency accommodations at this understaffed, un-airconditioned, nightmare of an airport. We were notified that the flight would leave at 9am on Sunday the 24th, when we arrived it was delayed to 12:15pm, we waited in line for over 1.50 to get checked in, during that time it was delayed again to 2pm, then an hour later it was delayed to 3pm, then 5pm, then 6pm, then 7pm. We were told it was pilot timing issues, then rockets, then plane parts, then a mechanic, then weather, then we stopped receiving any excuses at all. There were two flights with almost identical flight numbers 879 and 879P, the AA staff at the airport told half of of us that 879P was cancelled, but apparently it was 879 that was cancelled. They held us in this overcrowded, unairconditioned airport, with no working outlets, and no wifi, for over 8 hours on Sunday. We had to demand our luggage be removed from the plane. For a second night we had to find accommodations. We ended up at a resort that cost over $2000 a night just to find sufficient room for our family. We booked a Delta flight for Monday morning and finally got back stateside with ZERO issues. We're working on getting reimbursement for our expenses which total over $6,000 for the two nights of being stuck there and having to book another airline last minute. IT WAS A NIGHTMARE.

Our gate number was changed but nobody alerted us until we tried to board the wrong flight then they told us almost missed another flight. Very bad service.
American Airlines canceled the flight twice and was unable to facilitate a change of city for us after our travel plans became affected. We lost alot of money due to this and it seems like the airline was trying their best not to facilitate this. Mind you, I am a very loyal member.
It was wonderful upgrading to first. Plane was so cold thou. Crew was great. Wish there was a food option in first for such a long flight. Doesnt matter the time of day. Chintzy.
This plane is my favorite despite the very limited overhead space. Seats are comfortable!
My flight was a little marred by poorly fuctioning / loose headphone sockets meaning I had to move twice. The meals were good and the staff are always amazing, attentive and friendly. My bag was lost on my previos trip with BA for 15 days of my 18 day trip, however I experienced no such issues this time despite my fears. Overall ok but aircraft need better looking after.
Horrible trip. I won't fly AA again Boarding was a nightmare because they squeezed people into the waiting like sardines. My connection was 30 minutes and the run to the gate was horrible. Then the flight was canceled AFTER boarding. The Flight attendants did not know what to do and gave out the wrong instructions. They finally sent us to a different gate. Again, the waiting was like a sardine tin. The flight was okay and my baggage arrived fine.
