Pros:
The car was fine and it was clean. The people at the second location were helpfulCons:
We had booked our car 3 months in advance. When we arrived at the rental site there was no one there. We arrived at 2:30 pm and there was piece of paper on the window that was hard to ready and had a phone number to call. When we called it was another location 10 min away. When we called they really had no idea what was going on but had heard there was no one at the location we were at all day. They told us if we could find a way to get to them they might be able to help us but weren’t sure. So we called an Uber and packed all our bags and my 1 year old in and headed to that location. When we got there they said they didn’t know what was going on but we’re able to give us a car and would credit us the money for the uber we took. After leaving we called the customer service line and were told that we would get a phone call from a manager and it is now a week later and we have not heard anything. When we returned the car they removed the credit for the uber from the final bill and didn’t know how the happened. When I pointed it out the apologized and said they would credit us for one full day of rental. When they printed the recipet it was for the full price again. It seemed like a hopeless cause and we will not be renting from them again2.0 Poor

Cons:
I had a reservation for 12 noon. My flight was about a half hour delayed and when I arrived to Enterprise at 12:30 the office was closed. They had closed at noon so I dont understand why I was able to make a reservation for noon. I had already paid for a taxi from the airport to the office. Then I had to pay for another taxi to a different Enterprise office and pay for it. Then the next office would not honor the original rate. I called the Enterprise headquarters and they were also not willing to honor the reservation rate so in the end I spent probably double what I would have spent. I will not book rental cars through Kayak or Enterprise again.2.0 Poor

Cons:
My card was stolen and they wouldn’t let me rent the car. (Had to have the actual card in person). I had to call hertz and cancel, which took 20 minutes. Hertz filed for bankruptcy and didn’t have a great inventory of calls. My original reservation was for 9am and had to be changed to 11am due to the inventory.10.0 Wonderful

Cons:
I put into Kayak that I wanted a rental car from LAX airport, however I did not realize the Hertz they chose was one on the other side of LA, nowhere near the airport. It was too late to cancel so instead I had to purchase a 2nd rental car from the LAX hertz at higher prices for a day-of rental. I never got my money back for the initial rental car despite not using it.One location in Mid-City

Pros:
We did get a complimentary upgrade.Cons:
Never was told we need to do our own walk around of the car when I returned the car they found supposed to scratches when the car was parked the entire time. That's what I told them about the walk around never being done and that's when the told we we do our own walk around they never said that as I was renting the car. Only after I returned it did the mention it.6.0 Okay

Cons:
The car I was given was nice, it was raining that weekend and the windshield wiper barley worked, customer service is not that great, they were not rude, and not nice either, staff was not knowledgeable about insurance coverage, I read the policy and seemed to know more that they did7.2 Good
Jan 2017
Pros:
This was the best price I could find for 10 days rental after searching on and off for a few months ahead of the trip. We had an Audi with less than 25,000 miles on it. It had a pretty big patch of paint missing from the rear trunk and bumper. Otherwise the car was pretty clean. Some nice features, although we couldn't pair our phones with the stereo and found the controls difficult to use. Got good gas mileage and handled fine.Cons:
Brakes were extremely touchy - like throw you through the wind-shield with a light tap touchy. The pick up took almost an hour. 45 minutes of which included waiting to be waited on and as far as we could, the people ahead of us were just waiting for some resolution to their issue - there was no interaction between the two staff members at the desks using their computers. Our car wasn't ready so we were given a free upgrade. The drop off was confusing. There were cars parked to the edge of the driveway entrance so I parked on the driveway apron, went in to ask where to park and was told right where it was. Other people arrived after me and parked in the road. I waited to be waited on for quite a while, just to get the answer to leave the keys in the car parked where it was. The biggest issue was the multple daily phone calls both me and my significant other received from some car warranty business telling me my 25,000 mile warranty was about to expire and to press 1 to extend the protection. I was seriously offended that my phone number had been either sold to a telemarketer, or somehow associated with the vehicle, as if I was the owner. The phone calls continued for about a week after our rental was over. So, it could have been a better experience. One location in Mid-City
