Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazingly Beautiful The very kind receptionist text us since we were arriving late to find out what we would like for dinner.... a Delicious dinner was waiting upon arrival at 10:30PM
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The restaurant and views out and soaking in the Hot Tub with a Pisco Sour!
Good 6.3
Pros: Quiet picturesque location in the hills of Rilan peninsula. Rustic wooden construction and interiors have a log cabin charm.
Cons: Quite expensive for what you get in terms of size of rooms, privacy, amenities, change of linen etc. The balconies back onto each other so sitting outside you can see your neighbor come out. Rooms get quite cool at night and you have to ask for heating and wifi to be turned on. The rooms are very small especially considering the wide open spaces in the island of Chiloe, everything felt a little cramped. The restaurant was good but not inclusive and you get charged for little extras. island of Chiloe, everything felt a little cramped. The restaurant was good but not inclusive and you get charged for little extras.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very relaxing, simple and comfortable atmosphere. Just what we wanted for our first stop on our Chilean vacation. Wonderfully hospitable and warm staff.
Cons: Shower head needed replacement. Kitchen hours were short. Especially would have liked dinner to start sooner than 8.

Pros: Clean towels every day, staff very kind, good prices
Cons: They don't have expreso coffee included in breakfast and the quality of the one on demand (paying apart) isn't good.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Location
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The location is in the center of town, near everything. The breakfast is large and definitely filled my belly. The bathroom was clean and the room a good-size. It was easy to check in and check out. I encountered no problems!
Cons: N/A.
Good 7.9
Pros: Good value for money. Very friendly service.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Parking available & good wifi
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. Spoke some English Location was great
Cons: Water was just warm -would have liked it a little hotter. Walls thin - could hear TV in next room. Breakfast was minimal toast with cheese and meat good, but cake, cookies too much sweet. Was disappointed that the it was bread toast and not the wonderful Chilean bread.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly helpful people
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent breakfast, lots of food, enough to last you until dinner. Only instant coffee :( Free secure underground parking!!!!
Cons: Fresh brewed coffee instead of instant. Kitchen staff tenderizing meat caused loud banging in room two floors below.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Incredible location. Absolutely beautiful.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Beautiful property across from Castro. Room was huge with gorgeous views. Dinner was good with excellent wine selection.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Stunning location, kind, helpful engaging staff. A lovely designed hotel with local resources. The rustic hot tub is not to be missed.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. Staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Great scenery from the dining room and our room, and decor was great.
Cons: The isolated location made it inconvenient to go out for dinner, especially because of the unlighted back roads, unpaved for the last couple of miles. When we drove there the first time, Google Maps told us to keep going past the entrance. We quickly found ourselves on a steep road with deep sand-filled ruts. Our rental car got stuck in one of these ruts. On the plus side, staff from the hotel towed our car to the hotel parking lot cheerfully and for no charge.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful place, awesome staff, real joy!
Cons: There isn't anything to dislike about Ocio... breakfast was really good, dinner a bit less but still ok.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: The main asset of Hotel de Castro is it’s staff. Extremely nice, polite and friendly people. I recommend the Jr. suites, as they are much more comfortable, newer, and have a great view. The restaurant has an extensive menu and the food is quite good.
Cons: It could use some renovations in the rooms area of the old building.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It is a old fashion hotel. But have a very nice architecture
Cons: The views, the breakfast and supper
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is a very good place to stay. Good bedroom and very good breakfast spite the COVID. The COVID protocols are well implemented. Breakfast and dinner are served in a very good space with a nice landscape to the fjord
Cons: It is a 1980s building with a singular shape. It is in good condition
Excellent 8.0
Pros: There are two buildings: the original A-frame, gorgeously designed with spectacular woodwork. They have allowed it to deteriorate so is a bit shabby, but you must appreciate the artistry. The new wing — concrete has the better, bigger rooms and the amenities. All the staff were highly professional, especially the women at the front desk. Breakfast was first rate: fresh fruit AND freshly cooked eggs .
Cons: I arrived during the virus panic so none of the health amenities— pools, saunas, etc.— were available, which was very disappointing. Not their fault and I did get an upgrade to the new wing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful building and wooden interiors, the view from our room was amazing as well. Facilities were top-notch, with a gym, pool, and sauna. Breakfast was amazing as well with local products. Finally, very friendly and kind staff.
Cons: there was nothing i did not like

Good 7.0
Pros: The location is good, there is a handicraft market in front of the building and the town centre is pretty close (though one has to climb a steep slope). The bathroom was clean and the shower has worked perfectly. A good option for a one or two nights.
Cons: The host was nice, but not very attentive or communicative. There isn't a proper reception desk or place. The triple room was really tiny. The double bed was huge, which hasn't left sufficient space for the second bed or passageways. Although we had just small backpacks and also, on the way from the room to the bathroom and between the beds, we had to squeeze all the time. The beds weren't comfy. The walls are really thin.
Good 6.3
Pros: Beds are quite comfortable. Shower water was good.
Cons: 1, the reason we booked this hostel was that it said on the booking.com web that the room was 20m. In fact, the room we had was at most 8m or 9m! We book and stay in more than 100 hotels every year through booking.com, and this is the smallest room we ever stayed. There’s no space to put down our suitcases and open it in room. We only have 2 smallest suitcases which can be taken with us on to the plane. From room to bathroom, one must squeezed between the wall and the bed. 2, although this property is not very far from the town centre or bus terminal, there’s a very very steep slope that must be climbed, which takes about 5 or 6 minutes, even healthy young people will feel breathless. 3, Because it is a wooden board house, every movement of any guest in the next rooms and upstairs rooms, including bathing and going to the toilet, can be heard by others. There’s no privacy staying in this property.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: - Good location (<10 minutes from the church, 15 minutes to the bus terminal) - Comfortable beds, room has everything you need...
Cons: ... except outlets. There were only two of them, one in the bathroom and one for the TV so not even one close to the bed. - Walls are THIN. You can hear your neighboor’s movie very clearly and get all their conversations. Hopefully, ours were respectful and quiet.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: comfortable bed, nice owners
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Great place, nice room and helpful host.
Cons: Not much.

Good 6.0
Pros: The spa is included in the price, and have a nice jacuzzi bathtub out in the terrace
Cons: Breakfast was somehow "ok" , they did have 3 options (that where basically the same), But they used stale bread from the day before, mini Baggett where stale, and toast where cold so... Big disappointment there.
Good 7.0
Pros: Location was great, restaurant for dinner very good
Cons: Bfast was “ok”, and you can tell they were closed for a while due to covid: rugs need replacing, hot water in one of the rooms didn’t work, staff was mixed (some great, others, esp bfast staff, a little lost)
Good 6.0
Pros: breakfast restaurant location
Cons: reefurbisshment, no hot water, heater did not work, humid rugs, casino was not open
Okay 5.1
Pros: The room size, view and bed comfort. The breakfasts were not bad.
Cons: The hotel adjoins a casino, is very badly designed and soundproofing is minimal. You can hear all the noise from the lobby, restaurant and spa (3 floors below) which goes on till late in the night inhibiting sleep and relaxation. The so called presidential suite, whilst large, was cheaply fitted out. Definitely not a 5 star hotel as advertised

Excellent 8.0
Pros: The staff was really nice, it´s an old but very cute building.
Cons: Breakfast was included in the price but could have been a little bit better for that price.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Clean room. Nice bed, sheets, and comforter.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Staff are amazing and the view of top rooms is like heaven
Cons: They dis not serve eggs in the breakfast
Good 7.0
Pros: family atmosphere, welcoming, caring attitude of staff, historical style of building
Cons: The shower didn't really work - had to have a sponge bath. Didn't complain as we had to leave early and had no time, so don't know what the reaction of staff would have been - maybe they could have fixed it. Windows were sealed shut - luckily a small bathroom window could be left open. A tad expensive
Okay 4.6
Pros: Colorful hotel, the location is perfect, parking area, there is a good restaurant next door
Cons: We paid too much for the hotel...in our opinion we paid too much. We stayed in similar hotel at much less.
Mediocre 3.8
Pros: Not a lot
Cons: The place is delapadated, quirky is interesting however this place is overpriced and falling apart
Okay 4.2
Pros: Very kind staff at the breakfast buffet.
Cons: Lack of cleanness. Old furniture. No space in the room.
