Do not assume that everyone knows how to drive the new cars & car features. Many people renting a car are seniors & drive older model cars. I think someone from car rental place should go to car with the customer to make sure they know how to use the new car features.

They gave me a car without winter tires, i asked for insurance but when I saw my contract later, it did NOT include insurance and I got in an accident. They THEN proceeded to charge me for gas, despite me having filled up the vehicle and having receipts.

The location was closed and i could not even pick the car. This ruined my plans. When a location is closed, why are you allowing to book a car? This was a very unprofessional and irresponsible and false service provided by kayak

I forgot my suitcase at their counter and was about 20 minutes away when I got a phone call from the CSR I had been dealing with. I would have, quite possibly, reached my destination, 4 hours away, and discovered this. He saved me a lot of time and headaches. They didn’t have the vehicle I hoped to get and upgraded me for only a few dollars more. Excellent service.

I liked the price , the car was completely filthy upon pick up and had less fuel in it when I picked it up (654km to empty) when I filled it I had (760km to empty)couldn’t asses any previous damage because of this. So when I returned it they tried to tell me I did damage that I did not do. Thank god I took some pics before I left. I’ve rented from a lot of places before and with ease and this one was by far the worst experience ever! Then they tried to tell me I had chips in the window which as I stated before I couldn’t asses the damage because of the dirt and bugs completely covering the car!

Car showed maintenance required during the entire rental period. Also charged for a whole extra day dropping car off 3 hours late. Not worth it. Would not consider AVIS nor recommend moving forward.

We got an email saying that a car would be ready at a certain time. When we finally found the desk in a hotel there was no one there but there was a phone number to call. He answered and said he didn't have anything available. He said he would try to get us one for the next day. He never phoned back. We had been in an accident and had no other transportation. Our granddaughter found us a company who had a car available
