Overall, a good experiencePros: The car was brand new and ran well, getting fantastic gas mileage without being underpowered. Pickup at Liverpool Airport was extremely friendly, no upsell. I like the "fuel option," where they sell you a tank of gas but agree to cancel the sale if you bring it back full. In my case, with a very tight connection at my dropoff, I was grateful to be able to come in empty.Cons: Car's handbrake was not adjusted right, so that it would not hold on very steep grades.

DisappointedPros: The price is the only good thing!Cons: I hired a car to be picked up from a hire place at the local airport, phoned the airport to be told there wasn’t any cars available, took two weeks to get a refund after a lot of messing around as there’s three company’s involved, one took the booking, one took the payment and one were I was to pick the car up from, quick enough to take your money so slow sorting problems out finally got there in the end regarding a refund thanks to a lovely lady at the place were I was to pick the car up from.

There is metered parking on the side streets around the downtown area as well as a number of parking lots and garages on the main street. If you are staying at a hotel on the outskirts of town, check out the park and ride lots. Here you can park your car in the suburbs and catch the bus into the downtown area so you don’t have to worry about looking for or paying for parking.
