I rented a Ford edge or similar vehicle. I chose this vehicle based on the trip I was making and the size of the vehicle.. I had two children and a lot of luggage to bring with me. Upon arrival at the rental location, I was told that the edge was not available and was given a significantly smaller s u v.. I tried to look into a van or any larger s u v and they were not available.. Though the customer next to me was given the choice between several different vans. When I asked why I was told that's because that's what they reserved. I did the same but was not given what I reserved. It was quite disappointing as I did have to do a lot of rearranging and was not able to bring some the things I was supposed to bring with me on our trip. Because they could not fit. It would be appreciated if I was compensated in some way for the inconvenience. Thank you in advance

I was satisfied with how I was treated by outlet staff, courteous, kind, and professional. Just one minor complaint The grounds of the outlet at 1014 Tecumseh Rd. E. Windsor are bit tight for maneuvering cars around the lot. Perhaps a relocation might by in order for this particular outlet.
I reserved a pick up rental. They didn’t have any available so they gave me an SUV. I had to rent a pick up from another place. I waisted my money in renting from Hertz.

Service is excellent but the car had not been cleaned properly. Exterior was not washed, windshield inside was cloudy and no windshield washer fluid. Return was easy and pricing was great.
