Very good service, the driver met us in the airport and took directly to the hotel, then we booked the driver for two days to visit the temples, it was not overpriced and the driver was nice. The restaurant on site is also nice.
Very welcoming staff and good food. The place was dated but very clean. Pool and longings area very nice.
The hotel is in a nice part if toen on the canal which doesn't smell great. That being said it was quite easy to walk to many tourisry locations.
The renovations are very good making these rooms comfortable and clean. We felt very safe and felt a warm welcome. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff are gracious, friendly and very helpful. They arranged our taxis, laundry and any requests we had, going out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our time in Chiang Mai. The breakfasts were simple and hit the spot to start our day. There is a lift to all the floors and security door on each level, a safe in each room and comfort items such as robes and slippers. The location is great if you don’t want to be in the touristy area. The main road is busy, however there are many places to walk to and the side streets are quiet. We were never far from a traditional Thai restaurant or special vegan place. Lots of places to choose from. There is a temple across the road with a coffee shop worth checking out. Catching a red truck out front is super easy for getting around town or visiting places of interest. We will definitely be back to stay here and would highly recommend the Ritz for anyone looking to stay in this area.
Staff very friendly, location, relaxed atmosphere
